I was one of the few on here that liked her but I'm glad it was her that was killed instead of one of the other originals. Good episode over all, finally. Just in time to wrap up the season for a few months. Hopefully the second half will get moving and we don't have just a good first and final episode.
I actually teared up a little. I'm not really sure why-- I wasn't attached to her all that much or anything. I think it was more seeing Maggie's reaction.
I also did not see that one coming either! but i agree she should have went for her neck.
And I really really hate the preacher! That was a total asshole move to run away and then bring a hoard of walkers back to the church. They should have just let him get eaten outside.
at least it was an exciting episode although it seems they are right back to square one, leaving Atlanta just as they did when this whole mess started....
I was sad more for Daryl and Maggie...but I also kind of thought there may have been something between Beth and Daryl, and I need another end of the world love story to obsess over.
I also think I didn't cry because it was late and I was sleepy.
On Sunday night we were working around the house and The Talking Dead came on. DH and I just glanced at the TV and saw Emily Kinny's face for just a millisecond and DH turned to me without hesitation and said, "Beth dies." I don't know how he knew in the one second he looked at her, but he was right.
I also didn't mind Beth, but she wasn't my favorite. In reality (ha ha) not everyone in the zombie apocalypse can be a tough, badass so I thought that Beth really represented the gentler side of humanity well in the show....but, her character arched and I think it was time for her to go.
That being said, and speaking of Talking Dead...did anyone see her interview. I felt genuinely really bad for her as a real person. She couldn't stop crying, talking about how she moved to Atlanta to make the show and became so close with the cast and now she's not on it anymore...and the more she cried, the more the producer, who was also on the show and sitting right next to her, probably felt like a giant asshole....

Now that would have made me cry. I think she is a beautiful girl and has a beautiful voice. I think she was just on another show and they killed her off too. Hopefully she will find work and not be typecast for her role on TWD.
oh hi @Stasi!! How are you doing these days?!?!? Hows the little guy?
Hi! I'm back at work (hence the bumping) and I'm doing great. Ryan is fabulous. He's a pretty good sleeper at night and just loves to be around us and part of the action. His sister adjusted way better than I thought she would and gives her brother lots of love and attention...although sometimes it's a little too overzealous and we have to regulate. Thanks for asking
Re: The Walking Dead
Finally an episode with excitement.

Good episode though! Hope the second half is a little more exciting.
