Growth spurt? Mental leap?

DD is 8 weeks. She's eating about every 2 hours again and sleeping a lot more. Is there a growth spurt or something around 8 weeks or is this the result if having DD out and about the last few days since thanksgiving?
We are so excited to grow our family!

    Good question, I was wondering the same thing! The twins were 8 wks yesterday & are eating every 1- 2 hrs also. Not sure that they are sleeping more, maybe a bit though but they are definetly fussier! We had a houseful all weekend & I thought that was why.

    C just started her 8 week wonder week. Today, she is crying if I am not constantly in physical contact with her. Preferably attached to the breast as well.

    Married 10/06

    Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)

    Ditto. My kid always eats about every 2-3 hours, except at night when he sleeps longer stretches.

    DD normally eats every 2 to 3 as well but she never sleeps all night and then naps all day like this.
    We are so excited to grow our family!

    Graham has been sleeping a ton lately too, And if he's not eating or sleeping he's fussy.
    I will take the extra sleeping. 
    ETA: he will be 8 weeks on Wednesday

    I second (or third of fourth) the wonder weeks app. I don't think it is the end all be all, but it's a good reference for approximately when your baby will go through developmental leaps, what type of behavior you may expect, and what type of behaviors they may exhibit after the fact. It was spot on with the first leap for my DD.

    Yeah. It could definitely be the second wonder week but there's no telling how long or short it could be.
