OPK confusion

Ok what do u guys think. I bought both cb advanced and cb digital and these were results. This morning I had a still smiley on advanced. The last couple of days nothing. I was worried it was not working right so I got another. And tonight took it and it was a flashy smile. I also took the cb digital earlier and it was nothing. I'm on CD 12 and temps are not changing. What would u make out of the opk ?

This is my first month temping also and today saw a big rise. So three days in a row of high temp? Can I expect to O in three days ?

do you have a link to your chart it sounds like they could be 0 or 2 days ago let's see

No, if you have had a rise today and have a similar temp for the next two days then you will get crosshairs (if using fertilityfriend) indicating your ovulation. You dont ovulate AFTER a temp rise, you ovulate PRIOR to the rise.

I just reread your post, and I'm confused. When you say 3 days of high I thought you already saw a rise and now see another one.
Reading your first post it says your temps are not changing... which is it? I know you haven't responded yet, but a link would be helpful.

so sorry.. Im on and off at work .. anyways, I had a dip in temp on sunday and today was a rise.. not sure what to make of that.. also sat morning I took clear blue advanced and got peak smiley.. Was same test holder from last cycle.. I also used the regular clear blue and got low fertility. But I tested in afternoon.. not sure what to make of the test. On cb advanced I had low fertility and peak the next day on CD 12.

don't make anything of anything until you have a sustained temp shift indicated by three or more days of a higher temperature and then the temps continued to be high. Your peak smiley indicates an lh surge which MAY mean you will/have ovulated but ONLY a continued high(er) temp will let you know that.

Don't know why you wasted your money on two fert monitors. You stated in previous posts that you have sex almost every day. It does not matter if you get a smily face or not if you have sex every day, you will catch an egg if its released. OPK's are more helpful for woman like me who has a husband with ED and am lucky to have sex 3x a month. So for me timing is everything.

You only have to make sure you are ovulating and you said that you have started temping so you need to follow FF tutorials and wait for your cross hairs.

I know ttc is frustrating but we cannot tell you if you ovulate or what your monitors are telling you.

Temp for 2 months and figure out if you ovulate then if you have questions ask.

Agree with previous posters... you need to wait and watch. I am planning on getting the strips on top of my digital next month, but that's because I don't plan to use the digital after that and I want to make sure i understand what the darkening line means. Don't know why you would get two digital?

As @hooligans4 said, if you are having sex every day you should be good anyway.

I have become a chart addict since mine sucks so if you ever show back up add a link. The picture of it I have in my head from your posts doesn't make sense. Also. ..do the tutorials and read tcoyf. I am guessing from your posts you haven't.

Finally on a real laptop and not mobile so could click on her posts... @runner76 you claim to have done all this 2 weeks ago on another board. Now you are on this one with a similar story, no chart, and things aren't adding up. Is this MUD or do you really have anxiety (yes, she posted a thread on that so I am not assuming) that bad? If so maybe you should do the reading mentioned above and talk to your therapist before you get to far along on the TTC journey.

We all get a little anxious and excited and some things trigger us at a normal level so I was trying to be patient and helpful, but if you truly are triggering clinical anxiety over TTC this soon maybe you should think about this and what will get it under control or else a BFP could be a miserable 9 months for you.

Every time I see her name I get irritated immediately, and then I really get on edge when I read what she has posted. Multiple times, multiple people have responded with valuable information. I say troll

I've tried to stay out of her posts because I really have no idea wtf she's saying and I can't follow her at all.

If she is a troll than that's absolutely pathetic but if she is this anxious, I really hope she seeks out a therapist.

We have a family member that "doesn't get it" and can't really find stuff for herself so in my head I was putting her in that category and trying to be helpful.... but unfortunately... I think she may, in fact, be a troll.

The combination of her posts on all the boards just don't add up to me. Now "I" don't get it... the drama and trolls seem to stay off this board. I would think when they don't get the flaming responses they just go away, which is why I stay here for real conversation and support and lurk elsewhere for entertainment, but I guess no board is ammune.

@kelley72, I get irritated when I see her name too!! Maybe we just need to ignore her since she can't seem to take any of our advice anyway (if she's not a troll).
