Due date??? not sure??

So, I wanted to see if anyone has had a question about their due date. I have had three ultrasounds so far (one due to spotting, one for my first scheduled prenatal, then one because the dr wanted to get a better measurement of the baby for a due date). I last measured at 8w6days (which was consistent with both the previous ultrasounds). My dr told me my due date is June 18, but I'm measuring to have a due date of July 2? She is going off the first day of my last period. I feel like 2 weeks difference is a lot for measuring of the baby versus the docs due date. Has anyone else had this come up? Trying to figure our if I'm 10w or 12w? :/

    Im also a bit confuse about that. My mine is just like 5 day difference. I dont think you should worry about that as long as your baby is developing properly and growing.

    Super excited its moving along well! I just need to be able to give my work a heads up for my maternity leave. 2 weeks is a big spread lol. I plan to work until the baby comes...I will just follow up with my dr at my next apt in three weeks. Ahhh...the crazinessof ppregnancy lol ;)

    Side note I noticed you said ten or twelve weeks. My due date is July 2 just want to let you know that would only be 9 weeks and five days :). I would go off the dating ultrasound or call and ask where your Dr is getting the other date? Sounds odd that they would give no explanation. I would definitely want clarification. Good luck!

    Going off the date of your last period is pure guess work.  It assumes that ovulated on Day 14.  If you did not, as it sounds like you didn't since you're measuring for a farther due date.  In other words, I ovulated on Day 24 which makes my due date July 26.  If you went by LMP my due date would be July 17 (because it assumes an ovulation day of cycle day 14).  You must have ovulated later.

    I would ask for clarification.  Two weeks is a pretty big difference and if they go by your LMP rather than how far you are along actually then they could end up inducing you too early.

    Was curious myself about my due date. As of right now it's July 1st.
    I know they go by your lmp but mine was suppose to be sept 15th. It was actually 9 days late and came on the 24th. Does that still make me 11 weeks or am I possibly 12 weeks?
    I have an ultrasound on the 22nd, so they'll hopefully tell me for sure.

    You go by the day of your LMP - so that would be Sept 24.  Doesn't matter if it was late or not.

    I have kind of the same situation too. My first visit they gave me a EDD of July 17th based on "the last day of my last cycle", October 10th but today baby measured 1", which is approximately 10 wks, so my new EDD is July 8th.
    I was such a nervous wreck when he asked me if I had any questions I said no.
    Buy I will be sure to ask At My Next appointment!

    According to my LMP, my due date should be July 7. But, according to my first Ultrasound, my due date is July 17. Also, if your due date is July 18, you would only be about 9 weeks. Anyway, good luck! Talk to your ob, answers will be given.
