TTC After a Loss

Working out question

As most of you ladies know, 10 days ago, I had EP surgery removal of my right tube. Two days ago I complelty stopped bleeding and the soreness went way down. In am ready to get back on the health kick and that includes working out again. I feel like my body is physically ready for this.

How long after your loss did you start working out again?

Re: Working out question

  • You should ask your doctor. Actually, your doctor should have given you this info. I really don't think that 2 weeks is enough "healing" time though.

  • I was cleared to resume normal activities, including working out, one week after my D&C. But I don't have a clue on how long to wait after tube removal. I also agree with @PinkCamino‌. I'd ask your doctor.

I understand wanting to get back to normal activities though. Hopefully you will get the all clear soon!

  • Talking to your doc has been covered. AFM: I started back into light yoga about 4 weeks after my loss. Then at about 6 weeks post loss I stepped it up with running again. Technically my RE cleared me at 2 weeks, but it was because my workout was my normal activity prior to loss.

  • I called the OB nurse and she said I am clear after 7 days with light working out until my post surgery appointment on the 10th :) I am going to do some light walking today. She said no lifting anything heavy and do 7-8 minute walk and see how my body is adjusting.

    Thanks for posting
