Vent needed

I asked my husband to let me run to Publix by myself. I got home and he said, "I washed the cloth inserts." I know I don't even have to finish the story. Somebody knows my pain. Stripping now. I don't know wth he was thinking.

Do yourself (and your hubby) a favor, and type out the directions on the right way to wash them, then put the instructions up near the washer

That's exactly what I did!! LOL. And he did mean well but I've gone on and on about how complicated it is and how I have a very specific routine, so he had no business throwing them in a regular cycle with regular detergent! Ugh.

Meh. One wrong wash isn't going to ruin them. Thank him for trying, then remind him where the instructions are.

I agree with TJ. My hubby still asks every single time he does anything with them how to do it. Haha He only messed up once, I think he's afraid now.

Ummmm, what do you mean by how complicated it is and what is a regular cycle with regular detergent in this case?

Complicated because you have to have the right water level and the right temps. You can't just throw them in a regular short wash cycle with Target brand baby detergent. That's what he did.

I didn't bitch at him, like I said he did mean well. I just needed to vent because we've all been sick and it's been a long week and I was frustrated. I wish he would have consulted me before just throwing them in. I've taken great pains to get my routine just right.

I'm over it now.

Ok, that's a definition of a complicated diaper wash routine that I can go along with.

As to the rest, hopefully it'll be just an overkill pre-wash cycle.
