Intro from IF (Update)

Hello everyone, I am transferring from IF board, and excited to see some of the IF ladies here. The details of my IF is in my Siggy.

i got a positive on 4dp5dt and the line has been getting darker. I had the beta done at hospital on 6dp5dt and it came back at 74.2. I am hopeful that we are going to have a really good outcome.

After getting a positive, I started to have OHSS symptoms, and went to ER to have it checked out. The ultrasound showed fluid in the abdominal, and enlarged right ovary. It hurts to lay down, sleep, stand and go to bathroom. 

I am so happy to join you ladies. 
 
Update: Beta at 11dp5dt came at 509.6. Next beta is on Wednesday.

    Congrats & welcome. I'm sorry to read about your OHSS, but glad you've gotten a BFP to take away some of the sting.

    2013 summary: Diagnosed with Hypothyroid; Cervical polyp removed (benign); 
    2 rounds ovidrel with timed intercourse (no result): 3 rounds IUI with clomid + ovidrel (no result)
    2014 summary (to date):
    IVF cycle 1 - ER: 4/17 (28 follicles, 3 fertilized, 2 survived to day 3);
    ET: 4/20 (3rd day, 2 embryos - 1 @ 6 cells & 1 @ 4 cells); Beta 5/1 - BFP!; 
    1st scan 5/13 - development behind, no heartbeat detected; D&C 6/2; WTF 6/13
    IVF cycle 2 - BCP begun 7/12; stims w/ HGH begun 7/26; 
    ER: 8/6, 12 follicles, 7 fertilized w/ ICSI; ET: 8/11, 3 blastocysts left, 2 transferred, 3rd arrested 8/12 - none to freeze :'(
    1st beta 8/19 - BFP! 294; 2nd beta 8/26 - 4976; 1st u/s 9/2; 2nd u/s 9/9 - two little heartbeats at 140 each!!!

IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm!     Congrats! I had mild OHSS...just take it easy, limit your bending, lifting and physical activity. The fluid in my abdomen went away by 6 weeks I think and my ovaries finally went back down to normal size by 11 weeks. So it can take some time..make sure you are being monitored closely (RE checked my ovaries weekly to make sure there was blood flow). Welcome!

    Congrats on your 2nd beta!  FX'd for a great third beta and that the OHSS symptoms let up soon.
    Me 27 DH 29 Married since 2007, together since 2001
    Off BC since Febuary 2006 3 Clomid Cycles in 2008- symptomatic, US just showed a tilted uterus, otherwise normal, HSG normal.  DH has an ejaculatory duct obstruction and a congenital absence of the vas deferens.  This is common with cystic fibrosis carriers, but he doesn't have cystic fibrosis. IVF #1 with TESE/ICSI (Antagonist protocol) Aug 2014=BFN (poor embryo quality)   IVF #2 ICSI long lupron protocol November 2014

    Welcome and congrats!! I also had OHSS- mine started the day before I got my BFP so it was my first "symptom." My bloating was mostly better by 9 weeks or so and my ovaries were back to normal around 12 or 13 weeks.
