***HELP!! Girls, I need to pass the torch on this check-in. Please tag me or PM me if you're interested in helping out. This weekly check-in is for anyone using/considering or who has used a 3rd party method of reproduction, including: Donor egg, donor sperm, embryo adoption, gestation carrier, or surrogate - also Donors, GC's and surrogates as well! If you don't check-in for 3 weeks you'll be removed from the list but we'll happily add you back next time you check in! Technically I'm still in the pregnant category. My betas started off weird but have been doubling since, hopefully tomorrow's fifth beta will provide some answers. It's very hard being in limbo! Hope everyone had a relaxing holiday!!

AFM: I have an apt with the donor coordinator on Friday to talk about a donor I'm interested in. She's an egg makin' machine. The donor has a history of having ~100 eggs retrieved, with an average of 80 mature, does not develop OHSS, and has good quality eggs. So far this donor has cycled four times all cycles have resulted in pregnancy. She is reserved for Jan, so I will be cycling March or April. I hope it works out. Hopefully the key to our success is DE/DS!

QOTW: DH and I went shopping yesterday, and bought a few items. Unfortunately, we have a long way to go before our holiday shopping is complete.

I'm feeling anxious and ready to start the next cycle. I should see AF this week so iui #4 here we go.

I got all my Christmas shopping done this week without leaving my sofa. I bought everything online this year. I love etsy.com great vintage items.

@mm29 - my first ultrasound is scheduled for December 8th. I am going to see if I can convince my RE to let me go in on Dec 5th because it's International Ninja Day (I didn't make that up!! A friend told me!!). I'm very excited about your spring cycle! Your donor sounds like a true Spring Chicken!!

Next "step" is our next prenatal appt on 12/19. Luckily everything here is very boring, just how I like it. I'm 11 weeks today!

We did buy some tablets for the kids for Christmas on T-giving online. I also bought a die cutter online for an amazing price. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get a membership to a children's museum that our family loves. It's $160/year, but usually for Cyber Monday they have an annual membership for 1/2 price. I can't wait to get it so we can take the kids, it's one of their favorite places, and one of mine when it's nice out.

afm: i can't believe our son is one month old yesterday. my in-laws came for thanksgiving, and i am glad they came but was extra relieved when they went home today...my house was not built for 9 people!

AFM nothing exciting going on. Beta for iui #4 will be next Wednesday if AF doesn't show before then. This will be my last you cycle for a few months. DH and I need to start thinking of another game plan.

QOTW: I did black friday shopping after dinner Thursday night (wish they never changed the hours) we did manage to get what we went there for, so I'm about half done

@mm29‌ - wow... Just wow. I hope you get lots and lots of healthy eggs and it sounds like you will!!

Just not so eagerly awaiting my Dr KK appt, which is pushed back until the end of February. I wish I didn't want this so badly, because I really feel like giving up. It's been nice living a normal busy life. This is the first time in a long time that I'm not walking around with a constant aching and heaviness in my chest.

I've been enjoying Black Friday and Cyber Monday!!

Hi everyone!! Great to see some bfp's, babies born, and soon-to-be-born!

All is well here. Simone turned 3 months recently which is hard to believe!! She's thriving and we are adjusting to parenthood pretty well. I'm actually thinking about TTC#2, either a frozen egg cycle with our same donors, or ED. I really want her to have a sibling, more than I thought I would (we were one and done). So that's a big deal.

QOTW: I wanted to have an ornament tradition for Simone, and today (now) on Amazon the Swarokski snowflake ornament was on lightening deal! I want to get her the snowflake annually and then hand them off to her as a set one day when she moves out. We'll see if I can remember to do it every year....

afm: started a new type of birth control i hadnt heard of... and no one ever has posted about it that i know of before! its called Norethindrone. I take two 5mg capsules before bed every night till Jan 6th and stop taking it. i looked it up and its for women with endo or..... in my case having stopped having periods. So maybe it will do the trick this last hurrah!

I have my calendar and FET #4 is set for JAN 28TH. so I'm sure it will creep up on me. I got my depot lupron shot and just have a few things left to order till I'm all set.

QOTW: no shopping for me on black friday but since its cyber monday i splurged and got a adorable pottery barn Teepee that has grey dots on it for a heck of a deal! on sale for 199 plus my 50$ off coupon and free shipping! now me and PJ can have play time under the teepee! i bet I'm more excited than him!:)

New GC to the check-in... I took a small break in my surrogate journey after four transfers of 2-3 embryos each resulted in two BFNs and two chemical pregnancies. IPs chose a new egg donor and have a new batch of embryos, hoping transfer #5 is it! First beta at 9dp5dt was 296, second today was 6,596 so we have scheduled ultrasounds!

QOTW: Only shopping I've done is from my couch on Amazon and Etsy for some Black Friday deals

Hoping to not have to brave any crowds this year!

Welcome CinciSurro. What a trooper for sticking with your IP's. I am sure you are a major blessing to them.

Fun to read everyone's updates, lots of good stuff going on. Our first u/s is Wednesday. We told our parents on Thanksgiving about our GC, but holding off on the rest of the immediate family until after we know if there are one or two babies in there.

QOTW: No holiday shopping yet, I can't deal with the crowds.

Monday was my second ultrasound and my birthday. I got the greatest gift ever...a heartbeat! We never got far enough to see a hb with my first pg. Next ultrasound is Dec 15th!

QOTW: I bought something online for DH on Thanksgiving....and that's pretty much it. I need to get my butt moving.

Hello ladies! I'm late to the check in due to ridiculous amount on work....

Things are moving forward but I am a bit worried. We are doing 1:3 share(DIVF) and my donor is on day 6 of stimming. The nurse told me they counted 15 follicles 11-13mm. We need at least 18 mature eggs to qualify - each family gets 6.

Should I be worried? I don't want to get my hopes up if there is a good chance this is not our cycle. Why can't it be easy this time....

@RunCC37 – congrats on your pregnancy! I hope it's a sticky one!

AF finally came!! I swear it felt like it has been 6 months...... But only 4 weeks. Cycle #4 here we go! Trying to stay positive. Hope everyone has a great week.

I'd say that you should change the check-in date to work for you... or make it a biweekly thread... organize it however it makes sense to you
