Special snowflake - I did some shopping online from my couch in my underwear and will do more Monday. Mostly hunting for deals on baby stuff though, Christmas is going to be mostly handmade goodies for the sake of our budget.
Not to mention the nurse who did my hospital tour/childbirth class warned us (all December '14 people) that we'd be crazy to participate, on account of how full L&D gets on Black Friday with women who get sent into preterm labor or end up with placental abruption from getting shoved down, punched in the belly, etc. No thanks!
January 2014:BFP!!!! Ectopic pregnancy ruptured at 6wks1day. Left Fallopian tube removed. Noted during surgery the right Fallopian tube is severely damaged from 2004 ectopic pregnancy.
April 8 2014: IVF#1 w/ISCI: 10 received, 5 mature, 3 fertilized. Day 3 transfer of all three embies.
April 22, 2014: BFP! beta #1: 80 beta #2: 211 One nugget!
I usually love going out thanksgiving night, however not this time. I did manage to drag my DH to BBB and BRU this morning and we got so much stuff!! Not the best sales but I had a crap ton of coupons! Now however, I am tired and sore!
I went to BBB, Macys, Gap and Old Navy. Not busy at all...I mean, just looked like a normal Saturday-type crowd at the mall. Got some cute baby clothes at Gap and Old Navy, all 50% off!
Because of the doctor specifically telling me on my appt Wed. not go to black Friday shopping I didn't go. I did however send my ILs out to get me a couple things. They didn't mind because they're the ones who got me into black Friday shopping in the first place.
Went to toys r us last night at 7:30 and scored 5 boxes of 800 (each) baby wipes for $5 because I had $45 rewards woop woop!!!! Then went with H to Under Armour outlet (where he works) and scored some good stuff 40% off then with his 50% discount, it was worth it. Then rolled outta bed at 715 this morn and headed to petsmart for $100 worth of rawhides at half off, gotta keep my doggies busy with the visitors we'll be having. Came home and lounged and napped all day so it was def worth it to get out yesterday and early this morn. So relieved I got those wipes and bones!
I went to Penney's last night on our way home from dinner and we did venture out to return some things this evening. I did most of the remainder of my shopping last night online
I leisurely shopped and I was surprised that it wasn't that bad. Started around 10, shopped til about 3. went to Carter's, Best Buy, Payless Shoes, and Target. Got such cute clothes for baby on sale. We're doing family/Christmas/newborn pictures after little one is born so I used that as an excuse to get adorable newborn clothes for the shoot (gotta have backups just in case of a blow out, right?). Got some new boots since my old shoes all feel way too tight right now. And then some Christmas presents. Totally worth it, even 39 weeks pregnant it was good exercise
Apparently mainers are laid back compared to the rest of the country. I've gone the past few years and haven't seen any violence! This year I wasn't planning on going, but I couldn't sleep at 4am,so figured why not?

Not to burst your bubble on your awesome deals, but rawhides can be bad for your dogs. There are many research articles done on this. There many alternatives that are better if they are a chewer or to "entertain" them.
D14 - Free For All
In loving memory of Baby HP42 and all D14 Angel Babies
I went to the outlets and it wasn't bad at all. My biggest issue was constantly having to ask people to move out of the way b/c I couldn't squeeze by them with my belly. I got new Nike Frees for myself and DD, a big open cardigan sweater, a scarf, new sunglasses, and a few shirts that I'm hoping fit me after I have this baby.
BRU has a great deal where it's half off of clearance prices; we got a ton of sleeper sets that included socks and a hat! They we're only about $3.50 or so each!
How was mockingjay @RaeChay ? I've been wanting to go see it.
I'm not the person you asked, but Mockingjay is excellent. The strongest of the movies by far. It made some improvements over the first half of the book as well (mainly by virtue of how strong an actress Jennifer Lawrence is and how big an impact seeing these things happen makes versus reading about them).
Agree. I'd rarely say a movie is better than a book but in this case it's true. The acting was pretty great. Definitely worth a see!

Agree with the others - definitely worth seeing! The theater was packed and it was a matinee.
I am getting kind of tired of the whole thing where one book always has to be split into multiple movies though- I even heard a rumor that they're thinking of splitting the final book into 3 movies! But I am super impatient.
