Holy effing hell, I'm so thirsty ALL THE DAMN TIME! I feel like a fish I drink so much. Hahaha. Anyone drinking a million times more than before? It doesn't help that I already have to pee all the time.
I'm the same, but if I don't drink as much as I need I end up with headaches. So I drink constantly, and with that comes frequent trips to the bathroom.
YES. I haven't really had an increased appetite this pregnancy, just increased thirst, like crazy. I guess because your blood volume has increased so much.
I was actually in the ER for a few hours because I got dehydrated, even though I felt like I was already drinking my weight in water. They gave me two bags of IV fluids and I was still thirsty when I got home. My midwife suggested drinking at least two, preferably 3 liters of water a day. I recommend getting a water bottle with a pop-up straw top that has markings for volume on it ( not like a 16 oz bottle, more like a 32 oz-mine is a liter) andf just cary it around with you everywhere, try to fill it and empty it three times a day. Keep it next to your bed, too. I have found I am keeping much better track of my fluid intake since carrying mine around and feel a lot better.
Me-24~~ DH-25~~Married 6/15/2013~~Pregnant with our first due April 2, 2015~ Septate/ Bicornuate/Arcuate /some kind of not-normal uterus- won't know for sure which one till after babe is born~~Hoping for a full term baby!
If I don't drink even water I get terrible headaches. I don't really feel thirsty a lot though but maybe that's because I keep up with the intake to keep the headaches away lol.

I have a really hard time with water consumption. I try really hard to keep it up though so I don't end up with a kidney stone or in the ER for dehydration or something. Oh the struggle!

I wonder if this is why I wake up every morning with a headache. It's been going on for 2-3 mo this at this point. I'm good about drinking during the day but only usually a sip of two at night. Maybe I should force myself to drink when I wake up to roll over.

If I wake up with a headache, usually water makes it go away where that wasn't the case before I got pregnant. I needed aspirin or something like that.

This. I am so thirsty all the time. I am also one who wakes up with an awful headache, but I have been learning if I guzzle water right after waking up it is more likely to go away. We can all be little fishies together!
I got a Camelbak water bottle that you have to bite down on to get the water to flow, which is great because you can drink it while laying down. Get them off Amazon or many local stores. I end up drinking at least 24 oz in my sleep without realizing it.

Love mine too. I really need to get a couple more.
I also throw in like half a gatorade too. The electrolytes help me feel better too, but i try not to drink too much bc of sodium and sugar.
I worked Black Friday and was amazed at the speed I drank 3 water bottles with. I mean, I was moving quickly but I never imagined working up a thirst so big.
No appetite increase but I'm chugging EVERYTHING! I have not been able to sip for months. Everything goes down like I'm doing shots. Sooooooo thirsty! Good to hear I'm not the only one!
