Question for Ergo lovers

Which ergo do you recommend? I've tried the K'tan and the Moby, and while I don't mind the Moby, I feel like I never tie it right or put his legs in right, so I'm looking for something a bit more "plug & play".

I have an old one from the organics line that's discontinued. Mine sadly lacks the front pocket, which is a feature I thought I wouldn't care about but always wish it had. I bought it secondhand, and had the option between it and an original ergo in black. Picked mine because of the embroidery. Ugh - wish wish wish I'd picked the pocket!!

Anyway, they all support baby knee to knee in the same width, I think, but the panel may be taller on the ergo sport.

I complain, but I do love my ergo!! I think whichever one you get will be great.

I know you're asking about the ergo but I have the baby Bjorn One. I wanted something that would grow with her and could be forward facing as well. It even converts to a back carrier when she's older. I love it. I'm not sure how much bulkier though it is than the ergo.

I have the Original Ergo and I'm using the infant insert right now, although I don't think I'll need it much longer.

Even though you asked about ergo, I love my beco Gemini. Great for newborns through older babies too....no insert needed.

I've been using the ergo with a receiving blanket under LO's bum (so that the seat is filled out and LO's weight is on his bottom rather than his feet) since week 2 or 3! They no longer need to be boosted when they can sit knee-to-knee in the carrier. As long as the panel is too wide, they need the boost.

I just took the pillow support out of the infant insert and use it by itself in the Ergo and it works perfect! My baby hated being in the full insert, she got way too hot....but still needed the boost to fit safely and correctly.

I have the 360--obvi haven't been able to use it for other positions. I had the infant insert but stopped using it last week --at 6 weeks. Love love love it for dog walks and toodling around the neighborhood. I use the k'tan around the house.

I have the 360 too but obviously haven't tried out the other positions yet. Love it but looking forward to being done with the infant insert!

I have the original and love it! Def recommend. Like a pp mentioned - I just pop the pillow out of the bottom of the infant insert and use that to boost baby up.

I have the performance (purchased in 2012 and the design may have changed slightly). I think if I did things over I would just get the original. The pocket in deeper in the performance and I think that's part of the reason why DD1 didn't like it at a young age. I think she just felt too smothered into me even with something under her butt to lift her up more.

We have an original and a sport. We like the original better, mostly because of the pocket. It's not huge, but I could always fit a diaper, a few wipes, burp cloth, car keys, change-purse... enough stuff that I didn't need to carry anything else. We used it with DS until at least 18 months, maybe longer. Haven't used it much this time around, as I like the Moby better when they are this little.
