Am I the only one who

Am I the only one who worries that something has gone wrong until the next visit to the dr. when we see or hear the baby? I just had an ultrasound a week ago and everything was perfect. Now I'm all worried again and want to hear the baby's heartbeat to ensure that everything is good again. It will be so much better when I can feel the baby move!

Re: Am I the only one who

  • It's very normal to be kind of worried in between appointments...
Just wait until the baby gets here, then you'll know real worry if it is your first ;)
Just try to enjoy all the stages, it truly goes by fast!!

  • Yep I'm pretty terrified, pretty much for no reason. I've never really had many symptoms but had an ultrasound at 7w with baby measuring perfectly and strong heartbeat! I just can't stop thinking about something going wrong. We'll have another u/s in about 2 weeks...can't come soon enough!

  • That's exactly how I was with my first. Once I could feel her move, I could relax. Just remember that everything was fine at your last visit.
  • Totally normal! The best advice I can give is, whatever is going to be will be regardless of how stressed you are. Try to relax!
  • I think it is normal.  Try not to worry though.  My acupuncturist tells me, that babies sense our emotions.  I remember that last time when I was pregnant, I would constantly check if I am miscarrying already or not yet...and I miscarried, at 11 weeks, and 4 days!  This time I love the baby, I talk to it, I meditate each night, trying to connect with it.  This time, will be better - absolutely no negative thoughts.  Some might call it delusional, I call it - unconditional love. :)

I hardly have any symptoms and am so worried about my apt on the 9th. I hate that we can't just know they're ok until we start to feel them kicking and wiggling around.

    Agreed!!
  • Completely normal, I just had an u/s lay week but still worrying all the time.

  • Same here! I think it's pretty normal. But I sure would like to not worry about every cramp of ache. I think I'll feel better after the first trimester.

  • This is very normal. I was a nervous wreck with my first. I didn't know what to expect and worried about symptoms or lack of symptoms.
