Happy Thanksgiving week everyone! I hope that you all have a safe and relaxing holiday.

Today is my Ask Me Anything. My parents are visiting, so forgive me if my answers are sporadic.

    My most memorable date. When DH and I started dating, he lived near the Library of Congress. I had just moved to the DC area. We walked around the Capitol building, Library of Congress, and Supreme Court at night and it was really romantic. I had never lived in the big city, so it was the start of a new era for me.

    My most disastrous date was my "vice versa" dance senior year. I asked a friend of mine. My mom wanted me to dress preppy, so I wore an Oxford shirt, tight jeans, and penny loafers. I was really self conscious with the boy and we didn't have a good time because I was so awkward. I was awkward with guys until I turned 18 or 19.

    That's awesome!! I miss DC so much (I was born & raised just 3 miles across the DC/MD border in Mo. Co.). There's so much to do around there, it's hard not to have great dates in DC right?! I bet seeing those landmarks at night were so neat!!
    @agpjt413: You're a native! haha. There are so many great date spots around DC.

    @MrsC0617 Hello and I've missed you!

    My favorite Thanksgiving food would have to be green bean casserole. We don't usually eat decadent casseroles, so it's a treat. My husband's aunt also makes this amazing sour cream, cheese, and potato casserole with corn flakes on top. My stomach is growling thinking about it.

    My guilty pleasure TV show would have to be the Real Housewives of Orange County. I like Heather DuBrow a lot.

    I would rather be too cold because I like to bundle up with blankets, scarves, and hats.

    I can't ice skate. I took lessons when I was young, but I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to daring sports like that. I would definitely wipe out often if I tried.

    If I could be anyone for 24 hours. Hmm. I'll pick a frivolous person and say Drew Barrymore because I think she is so sweet and funny.

    Great questions @thewickedfairy.

    Fave Disney character? Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I identify with her love for books.
    Fave Disney animated movie? Lady and the Tramp. I am a dog lover.
    Fave Disney live-action movie? Pete's Dragon (although I guess it's animated too!)

    Are there any Disney live-action movies you would recommend? I haven't seen very many.

    If I could live anywhere, I would live in San Francisco, Buenos Aires, and Paris. 

     If I won the lottery, I would purchase three bedroom condos in each of these cities, become a volunteer, help support my family's needs, and work with a charity.

    My least favorite restaurant would have to be Applebee's because they have an abysmal vegetarian menu.

    My favorite restaurant is the cafe across the street from us. I like their veggie panini with melted brie, avocado, spinach, and red onion slices.

    I am definitely a coffee drinker. I have an English Breakfast tea in the afternoon, though.

    I guess I'm more partial to sweet than salty.

    If I could have any profession and money would not be an issue, I would work at an animal shelter and take care of dogs.

    If money was no object, I would take an Antarctic cruise. That is the expensive but luxurious way to see the continent.

    @MrsC0617: I am terrified of confrontation. I would only be able to bitch someone out if he or she did something completely egregious in front of me.

    I agree! I usually get very embarrassed and clam up if someone is rude to me. I think of bitchy things to say in retrospect, but that never helps anything.

    My cure for a headache would be coffee or tea and an Advil. I hope that you are feeling better by the time you read this message!

    I love hot fudge, peanuts, and caramel on top of my sundaes.
