Baby tracker app suggestions

Anyone using one they love and would recommend? We were using Sprout, but now Jason has switched from iPhone to Android and it is only available for iOS. Boo, DH. So now we need a new one that will sync info to both our phones that doesn't suck. We track his food (bottles and solids), diapers, sleep, baths, medications (baby Tylenol), doc appts, and measurements. I'm doubtful we are going to find something comprehensive that syncs on both platforms. :/

Re: Baby tracker app suggestions

  • I still track nursing sessions when I think of it. I can't imagine tracking everything else. :-) I use the Similac app for that.

  • I guess we're both a little on the ocd side about it.. :\"> We like not having to guess or not really know how much he ate all day, how long his naps have been all week, how long it's been since he ate, etc. and neither of us are really all that great about remembering. Some days I will be sure he has been awake for hours and turns out he's barely been awake for an hour. Or we will think he hasn't really eaten as much as normal and can compare his total formula for the day to the rest of the week and know whether to be really concerned, kwim?
  • I think I would track if we worked opposite shifts or didn't have same time every week shifts. You guys work different shifts correct? I can imagine it would make things much easier to track. Hope you find something!
  • @chichi589‌ yeah we switch off a ton, the tracking definitely helps us stay on the same page!
  • Love baby connect. I track everything. Bottles, pumping, diapers, meds, solids, sleep. It really helps at the doctors office when they ask me a million questions and is so valuable to keep track of pumping when you EP. Plus it has helped me to predict her nap schedule. I didn't think there was a pattern until i started taracking and could see the naps mapped out on her timeline. I Also love that you can put pictures and milestones in. I have a paper baby book but always forget to write things down. I can go back to baby connect and see the exact date she rolled over or got her first tooth etc.

  • Hehehe, thanks for putting that song in my head @aprilmay9 .  Side note, that is SO not the good song in that movie! I don't get all the hype around it.. I mean, great Disney flick, definitely.  But eh, I liked the snowman song way better. :P

I probably could just let it go and Sullivan would get the exact same care. But graphs! Charts! Trends!!! We're with @mamrotu73 and dig data too.
  • Oh yeah, and the growth charts! DD had had to have weekly weigh in since she was born (now every 2-3 wks) so I am addicted to the growth charts to make sure she stays on track :)
