I tried to think of something more exciting, but im seriously thankful for my DH today. Especially with the holidays throwing everyone in the fast lane, I hope everyone can stop to remember why they love their SO, and why they will make a fantastic mommy/daddy.
I am so thankful for my DH, who I'm pretty sure is the most amazing man in the world (not that I'm biased or anything!), my family, a career I love that allows me to support my family...and of course, my baby RJ! We all have so much to be thankful for this year!
I'm so thankful for my SO, dad and brother. Without them this pregnancy would have been the worst! I'm also so thankful for the connection I have with my little man, when I first found out I was pregnant my biggest fear was not being able to connect to him, now I feel so connected to him and I'm so thankful for that!
Our year started off so shitty with the loss of our son but, my husband really stepped up to the plate. I mean. Really. I am so thankful for him. He doesn't ever question me when, after 10 months, I come to him crying for apparently no reason. He just stops what he's doing and holds me for as long as I need. He deals with all my PgAL crazy (and there's a lot of it) like a champ. He's freaking amazing.
I'm thankful for my girls. They are what kept me going when all I wanted to do was lay down and give up. Without them, I might still be laying in my bed refusing to move. And they are becoming such wonderful little people.
And I'm thankful for this little one. He is so wanted and I am freaking excited that he is on his way. I can't wait to hold him. I'm thankful that he's strong and healthy and, as far as I can tell, will be joining our family in March.
I always love this holiday because I really do love thinking about everything I'm thankful for, and there is so much. The good health of my family and I being number one- you really cannot take good health for granted.
This little boy growing in my belly definitely makes me feel thankful every day, and I'm so blessed and lucky to be his mommy.
Thankful for my H job and for being able to SAH with our son for the first 10 months of his life- it won't be easy I'm sure but there's nowhere else Id rather be. Thankful for our home and that we are blessed enough to always know where our next meal is coming from and all the bills are paid.
And thankful for life! Life is so precious. My mom and 4 sisters were in a car accident 2 years ago on thanksgiving and could've died. It was the worst time of my life seeing them like that. That they're healthy and with us still makes me feel very lucky.
One of my favorite holidays! DH and I see both families so much since we are minutes from both, but we all make a point to make this time of the year special.
DH and I separated for a period of time last year...things were very rocky...I don't really like to talk about if much though. I took my dad's advice and took DH back last year and am very thankful today that I did.
He has stepped up to the plate a lot.
And this am I am thankful to be sitting with DS as he watches the Macy's parade for the first time!
Happy thanksgiving y'all!!! I am thankful for this group too...I may not jump in and chat much...but I love having a place to come!
I am thankful for my DH. Overthink everything, worry all the time, get lost in own head, and he's the only person I've ever met who knows how to calm me, or draw me out, or leave me alone- whatever I need, when I need it- it's as if God made him specifically for me He's the best guy ever and he's going to make a fantastic father.
I'm thankful for my unexpected, but very wanted, baby girl. She has already brought me so much joy and made me feel all the things. I can't wait to finally hold her.
I'm thankful for my family. No matter how different our opinions may be, we continue to love and support each other. Seeing my H's family reminds me of how lucky I really am.
I'm thankful for my bffs. (I have 2). They are my strength!! We all compliment each other so well, and when someone stumbles, the other two step right in. It's a dance we've mastered over the last 20 years, but it's one I couldn't live without.
Finally, I'm really thankful for this forum. Honestly. I know nothing about being a mom or being pregnant, and I've learned so much here. I've been welcomed and made to feel like people actually care! The support I've received here is outstanding, and the ladies I've met are incredible! I love this group!
Im thankful for my kids. Becoming a teen mom in high school was one of the best things that could have happend to me. I was so immature..I did alot of growing up in those 9 months. Im also thankful for my hubby. Hes the best husband and father. Hes my childhood love, :x Im also thankful for my family. With out them i wouldnt have been able to finish high school.
I'm thankful that I am pregnant after 17 years of being told I'd never have kids by my doctors, and two (very early) miscarriages in my 20's. I understand I'm old by medical standards (36) but at least I'm finally in a place in life that I can provide for this child and have the maturity to raise her. Also grateful husband wants to be a SAHD and embraces the idea of it. I'm also thankful for my mom and grandma who have been crazy supportive. Thankful for a job that has a lot of flexibility. And very thankful for all of the great women I've met here on TB. Oh and thankful i am going to eat literally everything tonight and not worry about gaining weight lol
I'm thankful for my husband, he works really hard to make sure me (and now these babies too) have everything we need and a lot what we want too. Yesterday I overdid it moving furniture and after a 12 hour shift he rubbed my Back and started a bath for me (I didn't expect him too he just did it).
I'm thankful for these two babies. It took us 10 years, lots of heartbreak, and lots of $ but we were blessed with two.
I'm thankful for friends. Being in law enforcement, my husband often has to work holidays, and my family is 6 hours away. A friend from work invited me over so I still get to spend thanksgiving with people, but I can be home when my husband gets home from work so he isn't coming home to an empty house on a holiday.
I am also thankful for family, especially my mom. She is always there for me.
1. My husband. He drives me nuts and makes me laugh all at the same time. He's so excited about this baby and he's been such a great support for me. He already is an amazing father to his older daughter and I know he will be amazing with our son.
2. Both of our families. They are both supportive of us and willing to do anything for us.
3. Our health. We are alive and well today.
4. My job. I love my job and the people I work with. My boss is super supportive and flexible. It also allows me to pay my boss's and keep food on the table.
5. I'm thankful for my stepdaughter. She is such a light in my life and I've learned so much about myself and how to be a parent just by having her in my life.
I can keep going all day. This is by far one of my favorite holidays.
Thankful for my husband, who is my best friend and has been an incredible partner in this since TTC. He's also being incredibly tolerant of my family today....
I'm grateful for my sisters and friends and for all my M15 Mamas, who have made this process not only less scary, but so fun and relatable.
Grateful for LO who woke me up this morning with a few little kicks. I love her so much already!
Today while I was baking pies I burnt my arm on the oven and then lit my oven mitt on fire. Then I ran into the bedroom to cry for awhile. DH, being amazing, came in and snuggled me and said all the right things like he always does. He even told me that I could quit thanksgiving and not go to the family gathering if I didn't want to. I'm so thankful for him and the fact that he is always supportive of me, no matter what is happening. There is no one else I would ever want to embark on this journey with.
I'm thankful for my family as well, all of whom have been very supportive and wonderful throughout the years.
And, of course, my son. Who is kicking the shit out of me as I type this. I can't wait to meet him, and I'm grateful that I've got a body that I finally find beautiful because it has the ability to sustain this life within it.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the M15 ladies! I truly love this time of year, it reminds everyone just how fortunate we are.
(1)I am thankful for my husband, my son, and my daughter (who's still in my belly). They're my heart and soul, and bring me such joy it's unexplainable. (2)I am thankful for our health, that's something money can't buy. (3) I am also thankful that I'm blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom. It's not always easy but it's beyond worth it! (4) All of my friends and family near and far.
A day late, but Happy Thanksgiving! I love Thankful Thursday
I'm incredibly thankful for my H, who is so supportive and loving no matter what. He is so excited and sweet with this LO, I can't wait to see him as a daddy.
I'm thankful for the unconditional love of my family. Despite the rocky parts of our relationship through the years and the stressful pieces of family dynamics, I know they are always there for us and would do anything for us. I'm also really thankful to have amazing in-laws who truly love and care for me and that I actually really enjoy.
And I'm continually reminded of just how much I have to be thankful for right now- I know that H and I are so blessed to have the comfortable life we have and the joy of a growing family.
Extremely thankful for the benefits I receive for maternity/family life in the province where I live. Infertility treatments are never easy for anyone, but not having to worry about paying for them takes a huge load off (IVF is free here). 12 months of government-funded maternity leave, and $7/day daycare. Grateful doesn't even begin to describe it.
