Cycle/Month: 5/6

CD/DPO:
29/13

Timing:
-2, -1, 0

Testing Plans:
Tested yesterday at 12dpo for drinking purposes - BFN. I'm sure AF will be here tomorrow at the latest..

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:
I'm about to be on month 6. This kind of kills me a bit. I really thought I'd be pregnant. My metabolic clinic said that their protocol is to send everyone off for testing by this time so I'm unsure how I feel about that. My anxiety (generalized) is also out of control so I'm unsure what to do...it's never been this bad.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season?
I love decorating and the holiday spirit in general. I hate how the holidays can bring out the worst in people (ie: trampling someone to get the omgz best deal ever on a tv, etc.)

edited because I can't count apparently.

• Thanks for starting @Wine&Cupcakes. Sorry you're having a rough time right now :(.

Cycle/Month: 4(1AL) / 5

CD/DPO: 24 / 8

Timing: -4, -2, -1, O

Testing Plans: Mon @ 11DPO

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I woke up this morning not feeling so hot. Well actually I was really hot. Felt gross. And now I have cramps? I don't know. I feel really off today. So sad that it is making me hopeful!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season? I just love planning all the fun activities and festive wear for the girls and such. But I hate that the pull to do more more more can make the season stressful. Trying to find balance so we can truly enjoy the fun of the season!

Cycle/Month:3

CD/DPO:30/17 according to ff I'm not temping yet so I'm not positive when I'm ovulating

Timing:eod

Testing Plans: according to ff AF was supposed to be here 2 days ago so I may test today.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks:I have already taken 3 test with BFN so I have been drinking alot. Now that AF isn't here I'm worried I shouldn't have drank so much...

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season? Favorite is family, least favorite is shopping.
• Good morning!

@Wine&Cupcakes - I'm sorry you're having a hard time. Anxiety is awful :(

Cycle/month: 6

CD/DPO: 22/10

Timing: -3

Rants/raves/chart stalks: I don't feel great today, but I think that's due to getting sick rather than anything pregnancy related.

GTKY: I love traveling to Chicago at Christmas time. DH and I stay in the city for a few days and explore, and it's always a blast. I don't like dealing with family drama - there's about 70 people we visit over the course of the holiday, so there's always something that goes on.

Diagnoses: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, PCOS
• @trickyjedi - I'm thinking you O'd a day after you have dotted crosshairs on (the day of your + opk). I'm unsure how this changes things.

As for your temps...there is no drop yet...so I think you are still in limbo :-( sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

@trickyjedi I'm still a little new to the whole charting thing, so maybe that's why your chart is confusing me. Did you not take OPKs every day? It looks like only 4 are recorded throughout your cycle and your crosshairs indicate an ovulation date BEFORE your positive OPK. But maybe you had positives before that and didn't test/record? Also your crosshairs are a dotted line which indicates in might not be accurate. Can you see a detailed analysis on FF that can provide you with further explanation?

Cycle/Month: 4/4

CD/DPO: 24/13

Timing: Scored high according to FF

Testing Plans: Sunday, at 15dpo

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I saw this morning that FF detected a possible triphasic pattern, so now I've got all kinds of false hopes.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season? Love decorating the house, listening to Christmas music, and doing lots of holiday festivities. Hate the crowded streets and stores.

Testing Plans: next Saturday

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I actually got a solid nights sleep last night which never happens but my temp came down from yesterday and I thought it'd go up. Yesterday's temp could have been falsely high bc I woke up a lot during the night. I did get cross hairs today tho :) chart stalks please!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season? My favorite is decorating! I love Christmas decorations! My least favorite...trying to coordinate with everyone. Not only do I have my moms side and my dads side to see but also SO's parents and my DD's fathers side. It can be challenging!

• @mamasargetobe: Your chart is tricky because there aren't many temps to help show a pattern. There was a spike, but since I can't view that relative to your other pre-O temps I'm unsure. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

• @Wine&Cupcakes thanks for looking. I know there's not much to go on. I think FF is just making stuff up based on secondary signs. I can't not be obsessive/hopeful something is happening though.

Also hugs for the anxiety. I know it's rough. No stranger to depression/anxiety here. Have you spoken with your doc about it?

Edit: trying to get tag to work :-\
@mamasargetobe: So, I've always had a bit of anxiety and been pretty OCD. I think it just dawned on me that the two are related. The past several months my anxiety has been crazy - even moreso because I'm wondering if it's keeping me from conceiving. I understand that moderate amounts of stress aren't shown to hinder conception, however, I've heard of so many people who have gotten pregnant as soon as they've stopped trying that its hard not to think there is something to the relaxed approach...

...I'm thinking of chatting with my doctor or starting acupuncture. I know I don't want meds as this point since we are ttc so it's not a good time to start them, but maybe a therapist...Ugh.

• @lovegrilledcheese‌ - did you download an app or something or do you just do it on your own? I'm thinking of doing some meditation but so many things throughout the day set me off anxiety-wise.

I'm also thinking of removing Facebook because I've begun to have a difficult time with pregnancy announcements, of which there seem to be 2-3 a week lately.

I think a therapist is in order. My anxiety gets worse every time I think it may be affecting me getting pregnant as well. The more I try to fix it on my own, the worse it gets. Sigh.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: been feeling so lazy and unmotivated lately! My house is a mess and I have been slacking on working out. Got to try to get motivated again!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season? I hate stressful shopping! I always say I won't wait till the last minute but every year I do.

I also suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and was on anti-depressant meds when I was pregnant with my DS. Now Im on a different anti-depressant and an anxiety pill and I worry everyday that my anxiety is keeping me from getting pregnant and caused my early loss in September. I also need to find ways to manage my stress but honestly the TTC process has increased my anxiety!!

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: All I have to say is TTC can get really depressing around the holidays when the entire family is asking why we aren't we having kids yet. I just keep telling them we're waiting a little while.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season?

Favorite thing is definitely the delicious food. Least favorite is having to deal with the dysfunction of my family sometimes, but thankful I have a family to be dysfunctional with lol.

Timing is where you put days you had sex in relation to ovulation. -5 is five days prior to ovulation and -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, O and +1 (one day after ovulation) are all considered viable days. Some people wright good, bad, etc and others write EOD if it's every other day they had sex

As a clinical social worker I see all too often people trying to deal with things on their own or struggling in silence with issues like this. I've had family members in similar positions who benefited greatly from a little additional support through a challenging time or when dealing with more chronic issues. I don't think most people realize just how much stress and anxiety can significantly impact health and so many other areas of our lives. I think it's great you are taking this step.

And if I could, I'd recommend looking for either a psychologist or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). The licensing is a bit different in each state (the credential letters might be different) but that's the highest level of practitioner, it requires a certain amount of experience and licensing exams. Good luck to you!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season?

Food, yes. Taking down decorations, no. Christmas isn't really my schtick though. I'm not that serious about it. I like Thanksgiving and new year's more.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I've been very randomly spotting. So I'm thinking this means I'm out and I'll be getting my period tomorrow. I'm really praying that it's just implantation and this could still be our cycle. If not I'll be calling to set up stuff with an RE as December will mark month 12 for us.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season? Favorite thing is seeing the joy it brings the kids. The lights, the magic of santa, family time, presents. They are so excited for it all.

@bouncinsol‌ - thank you for this info. This morning I found a PhD, LICSW close to my home so I'm happy to hear that the additional licensing is what I should be looking for. She is also anxiety-disorders specific.

I'm excited to get some help on this. For whatever reason my anxiety has been so elevated the past 6 months or so and it really is affecting my life at this point. To think it's affecting TTC as well is extra hard and compounds the stress I feel.

I'm excited to get some help on this. For whatever reason my anxiety has been so elevated the past 6 months or so and it really is affecting my life at this point. To think it's affecting TTC as well is extra hard and compounds the stress I feel.
That's great that you found someone who specializes in that area, that's even better. And someone who is not only a licensed social worker but also has their PhD is amazing! Sounds like you will be in great hands. :-)

• @Wine&Cupcakes Thanks so much for the kind words. I hope that you find what you need in therapy. I'm actually an LCSW (I only work with kids though) so it sounds like you found someone good who will be knows a lot about anxiety and will be able to help. <<Hugs to you>>

• Cycle/Month: 4/3

CD/DPO: 21/3

Timing: -3, -2, O, O+1

Testing Plans: 12/6, but I'm going to try my hardest to wait til 12/9

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm just really nervous. I don't know how I'm going to deal with another BFN. I don't know why I'm having such bad anxiety right now. Have to put on my big girl panties, I guess!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing/least favorite thing about the holiday season? My favorite is being with my mom and sister, my least favorite is seeing my dad, because he doesn't talk to me or acknowledge my existence, mainly due to my past. He holds a lot of grudges and it is awkward.
