Diaper Stash Question - GMD sale

Hi, I am putting in an order of GMD prefolds (since they are 10% off)) and also Thirsties covers (15% off). I was planning to buy 36 prefolds (small), 6 snappis, 6 diaper covers (with snaps), and 30 cloth wipes. This would be my newborn,  baby comes home stash. I am planning to do wash every other day. Do I need more covers? Opinions much appreciated!

    I would get some thirsties size 1 covers in velcro. In the beginning I was intimidated by the snaps and the velcro cover I had helped make me more comfortable with the fit of our diapers.

    I would get two more covers, but I never got the hang of folding a prefold to contain a NB poo well so we went through covers quickly. That said, I would not get all the same kind, and I would recommend trying Thirsties aplix. It new stuff is fantastic.

    Also, just curious, did anyone buy mediums before birth? I am thinking I probably don't want to, since I don't know if baby will be thin or wide, and the baby won't need them until probably next November, but I feel a bit unprepared only having diapers until 15 pounds (I am a super over planner).

    I'm also building my newborn stash. At this point I've only purchased newborn or small sizes in a variety of brands and types. I want to try everything out to see what I like or dislike and what works best for baby before purchasing anything larger.
