I really don't understand Black Friday. I tried to find a deal that would get me excited enough to fight crowds. Or wait in some line at 5am. I'd rather pay more, not wait in line or wake up to get trampled. Andplusalso I Can't find any deal that's good enough anyway. Never understood any of the hype.
People were crazy last night. I felt bad that I even had to go walmart last night. I felt awful kids were laying asleep in carts at 6 o'clock at night. Insanity. I am glad I got medicine though.
I feel like a bad bumpie. I don't know how to respond to posts most days so I just love tit instead. So most days I just don't post anything.
My low carb cheesecake was a bust. It was not cooked all the way. I brought it home and I am going to cook it more and bring it to the in-laws for dinner tomorrow.
I'm paranoid about turning into "that" mom on FB, so I (self-)consciously balance posts about LO with non-LO content. It's SO HARD. So any of you FB friends out there wondering why I recommended you read an article about underwater basket-weaving, there you go.
I was so tired d.t.d. last night/this morning w/d.h. that my mind started like floating away and big turkeys humping popped into it...and not live turkeys, but turkeys that looked like ours before it was cooked. I didn't tell d.h. this until after d.d. woke up this morning, cuz I was afraid he would laugh too loud last night and wake d.d. up, l.o.l.
I like shopping black Friday (Thursday ) I don't get crazy and I think standing outside in line for more than 10-15 min is insane around here. But I still go every year. It's kid free shopping
Almost all of my fb posts are about my kids. I'm def "that mom" and I don't care. I love seeing pics of other people's kids. I only hide or delete people that discuss politics constantly, or are ignorant/stupid/selling stuff/asking for stuff.
This exactly.
Probably the top reason I'm on the bump is so I can contain my kiddo posting on FB. I also have a separate "kid-friendly" friend list of mostly fellow parents so that I don't overwhelm my FB feed with photos.

95% of my posts are about my kids. The other 5% are about my H.
If I had some awesome hobby I'd probably post about that but I don't. If people don't like kids or my H then they probably won't be my FB friend for long. I'm fine with that.
Ha! Yeah. Like I have a cousin who's stressing about trading in one very expensive car for yet another expensive car (WHAT TO DO? :-SS) or a another person who is always talking about her job and her dogs.
Clearly our kids are way more interesting and superior.
--------------------------------------------------- One of d.h.'s cousins is "that mom", but in terms of her dogs. She doesn't have kids, yet. I had to remove her from my news feed cuz I couldn't stand seeing pics of these big dogs that looked like hounds of the dead or something. I told d.h. to let me know when she's preggers so I can add her back to my feed and enjoy her switching from dog posts to bump posts.
Ugh. I roasted the $60 free range organic turkey upside down. H was breaking it down AFTER dinner, and kept commenting how "lean" this turkey was. The breast meat sucked. We just assumed that b/c it was free range and organic that it was skimpy on meat. Then he turned it around. Breast meat for days. Too bad we had already eaten. )
I just cut two of my kids hair. 1.cause I'm cheap 2. I actually went to hair dressing school and I never use my attained knowledge. 3. Mostly cause I'm cheep and won't pay $20 + dollars for a kids hair cut!
I've been cutting DHS for the last...mmm 6 months or longer..probably longer. 9 months. I have never went to hair dressing school. But it usually turns out decent and saves us $20.

The good news is that cooking upside down is supposed to make the breast meat extra moist! Enjoy your leftovers!
Last night, I ate a ton of ham after we got home. I went to the fridge, took a piece, sat on the couch, finished ham, and repeat until there was no ham left. I just ate it cold one slice at a time. So ashamed. FTR, it wasn't an entire ham just our portion of the leftovers we brought home. So.much.ham.
I did this all day. Delicious, delicious cold ham!

I have cut DH's hair since we were dating, and now I do C's. My mom taught herself to do my dads and brother's, and it didn't look hard, so I tried it.
