Starting my first letrolzole cycle

I intro'd about a month ago and have been lurking since. Refresh: DH and I have been trying for a few years and I have PCOS, this fall we decided to do testing and start working with an RE. Our tests all came back normal other then the fact that I just don't ovulate, like ever.

Well today was my day to test before the cycle and I don't know why I was sad it was negative...it's not like I've ever expected anything different, still just sucks so much though...

I am pretty nervous about my first cycle with the meds, I have to induce my cycle with progesterone (which always makes me a hormonal bitch, yay). Which makes me even more nervous about how I'll react to the fertility med and trigger shot.

I have been surrounded by babies and preggers lately and I can say I am really lucky to have you ladies here who actually understand rather then the others who just keep telling me I need to "relax and let it happen"...next person's getting punched in the throat! LOL

TTC since Jan 2013      Me=25   DH=26

Me: PCOS; I do not ovulate on my own...like ever. All other tests came back good.

Hubby: SA came back in the normal range.

Medicated Cycle #1: Letrozole 5mgs days 3-7, trigger when eggs are ready: total bust...u/s 12/23-lots of little follies. u/s 12/26 follies grew 1mm 1 in each ovary. u/s 12/28 no growth. OPKs for hopeful ovulation, if not progesterone on CD35 to induce next cycle w/5mg letrozole CD 3-7, add follistim CD 8. UPDATE: Positive OPK 1/1 and 1/2, very unexpected and unlikely that I'd ovulate this cycle! :)

Good luck with your first medicated cycle! The only side effect I had on Letrzole was it was hard to fall asleep and stay asleep. I would wake up a few times in the night because of hot flashes. And my trigger injection experience was bad. I reacted to where I injected it. I had huge swelling and it was so painful to move. I had to take the next day off of work. It lasted about two days then went away and now I just have a bruise. But, I'm just gonna switch brands next month.
