AW: Doctor surprised me with u/s today!

When I scheduled my first prenatal appointment, I was told that the office will not do an ultrasound until the doctor orders one for a later appointment. This was even confirmed with a follow up call just to check! So I was over the moon when I got there and the first thing they wanted to do was an ultrasound!
Since I didn't drink the water they normally would ask you to, the regular ultrasound scan wasn't showing a whole lot. I actually panicked a little bit until she suggested we try a transvaginal scan! I was so relieved when she said the heart beat looked strong! It measures out at 7weeks+2 days. This is our first and we tried for a year to get here, so needless to say we are extremely excited about this little blob!
