So here is the Thoren flavored news. He has started OT to supplement his educational therapy and is doing quite well, he loves his ET, and seems to be willing to work with his new OT and that is wonderful to see. The group therapy he was going to be starting has seen their program end, due to a major car accident for the director. It's sad for all involved, but mostly i hope the poor woman is okay. To make up for that social growth opportunity lost, Thoren and i are going to sign up for a music class. It turns out, my little boy has a mathematical/musical gift. In hind sight i should have recognized this long ago, but i guess i couldn't see the forest for the trees. We got the call from UW about formal diagnostic testing, and it looks like sometimes between now and february we will be heading down to the campus, for a 4 part evaluation to have him diagnosed, and determine, if possible, what type of Autism it is we are dealing with. His OT and ET both think he falls under the Asperger's category, but we'll see. We will also find out more about his SPD then, i hope.
As for me, nixing gluten has done wonders. I dropped two clothing sizes, almost completely stopped getting headaches, which means, my syncopatic episodes have stopped for now. So cross your fingers, because i could really use a solid dose of health right now. I also got the call from Virgina Mason, to schedule my bariatric surgery, so i am just waiting to hear from them again about my consult and scheduling.
Lots of good things happening in Casa DeHaven. OH! And, we found a rental, and are going to be living with my best friend for a while, who just happens to be 15 weeks pregnant! I am sort of disgustingly excited for her lol.

7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!
