Any Black Friday Shoppers?

This is the first year in about ten years that I most likely won't be doing any physical black friday shopping. I might try the online shopping thing out.

I usually went to Macy's, JCP, Lowe's and Staples (sometimes Target).

I swore off the super early shopping at Kohl's, Bass Pro, Walmart and Menards -- these stores were just absolutely ridiculous!

Where do you usually go? Anything in particular you are after?

I do have a question -- the Macy's ad, some of the items say "Macy's Only." Does this mean that it's only a product sold at Macy's or that you have to physically go to a store to buy the item?

I can't stand crowds and really don't enjoy shopping. I avoid Black Friday like the plague, but I applaud those that venture out.

Thinking about it, but not for Christmas shopping. We are moving shortly and need some stuff for the apt. Plus LO is keeping me up all night so why not be productive and go buy my new washer and dryer

I love to Black Friday shop and have converted DH since we've been married. Unfortunately being potentially 5 days overdue or hopefully in the hospital at that point I will be missing it this year. I might do some online shopping/browsing but I haven't even thought about Christmas gifts this year and that's usually what we shop for.

This will also be my first Black Friday without going shopping in the last 10 years! If I'm still pregnant-40 weeks tomorrow- I may participate online, but that's about it!
I definitely spent about 4 hours at Macy's though last year!!! My husband and I were married on 9/28/13 so I waited to do registry completion/signing up for the Macy's credit card until Black Friday. I definitely made out like a bandit

I have no experience online with Macy's though....sorry!

This is the first year I probably won't be going out. Not because of baby, the sales are just disappointing. There is literally nothing that has me jumping up and down...& I'm typically the crazy person who is standing out in the cold for hours on end. In the past, however, my main stops were Toys R Us, Target, & Walmart to get Christmas presents for DD1.

My hubby just went to At&t to get a new iPhone and he got an LG tablet for $0.99 bc of some Black Friday deal..pretty awesome! We are going to look online for a nice area rug for our den but that's about it!

I actually have had a productive morning doing some online shopping today (DH went to work and baby is sleeping). I got a lot ordered and am feeling rather accomplished at the moment. I usually take a day off in the middle of the week in December to do all of my shopping at once.

Add me to team HELL NO. I have been to Target exactly one time since my baby was born. The thought of those crowds gives me a panic attack. I will say that I do get slightly jealous when my friends tell me about the awesome deals they got each year. For now, I'll just stick to Amazon

I'm more into cyber monday. I would categorize myself as a hugely successful online shopper. The key words are "free shipping" & "free returns"

I don't go because I will NOT support business who make their employees miss out on holidays with their family. I work in a mall and it is mandatory for our store to open at 6pm on thanksgiving because macys and jc Pennys are going to be open. If we were to not obey the hours we may get evicted. We get three days a year. I'm so thankful to be an maternity leave this year.

I was planning to go to whoever was not opened thanksgiving but being 41.4 I dont think I will. I did joke with my sister that it could jump start things or at very least I could have/say my water broke so I could maybe get checked out faster. Lol

I hate the thought of Black Friday. I hate shopping and I hate crowds. MIL will be babysitting for us when I go back to work though, so we are buying her an iPad for Christmas so she can send us pics of LO during the day.

Target has a deal where you get a target gift card when you buy one. I think it's online as well as in store.....at least I REALLY hope so!

I work for a major retailer and it is my job to ensure crowd control goes off flawlessly. I work in asset protection. So needless to say I could not be more thrilled that I am on maternity leave and I will not be participating in the madness.

Me!! I love it. My mom & I usually stay out all night shopping, but I just had a csection 1.5 weeks ago & she just had shoulder surgery yesterday. My brother's girlfriend is picking me up Friday morning & is going to drive me around so I can still shop this year, while DH watches the kids

I know I won't last long, but I need to hit target, toys r us & Walmart to get several things for DS that are big on sale. Everything else will be done online this year! I usually get my Christmas shopping 90% done on Black Friday & save a ton!
