My OB practice is located in the hospital I'm delivering so I go there quite a bit. Our hospital gift shop has so many cute first Christmas ornaments. I've been searching everywhere for one and I think the gift shop has the best ones so far. I was surprised
I love Hallmark's ornaments. I'm due 12/31, but I still got this ornament because I loved it so much. And it works even though I'll probably still be pregnant! ;-)

Wal-greens or Wal-mart. You can add their picture and it is a ceramic ornament. My sister gets them made every year of her kids and I have a little tree that I put them all on.
D14 - Free For All
In loving memory of Baby HP42 and all D14 Angel Babies
Personalcreations.com/catalog. If you order before 11/30 enter GIFTS2014 for a 25% discount. I ordered some for the whole family. I got both my older kids the ones holding a baby with their names on them & baby a first Christmas one.
Target sells one that is says it can be engraved. I bought it since I bought some from the same line previously for first Christmas together and first Christmas in our house.
I saw on Pinterest to buy a clear glass ornament and put the pink and blue baby hat and the baby braclete from the hospital inside. I think that is nice since they are items you probably want to keep anyways.
I will be getting ornaments for baby's grandmother and great grandpaerents from things remembered. I also got the plaster ornament sold at hallmark (or buybuybaby where I got mine) to make a hand imprint and can write info on the back. I love the idea of ornaments as memories but I am Jewish so we don't have a tree at our house. DH is catholic so we celebrate at MIL's house every year
Michaels has both plastic and glass ornaments to hold the hat and hospital bracelet if you go that route. I make them often for all different occassions - the Martha Stewart collection of paints sells a really great frosted paint and I put sitckers on the outside of the ornament then put the frosted paint over it an remove the stickers after so you can see through the letters it looks really nice and the rest of the ornament is clear and you can see the goodies inside. (if any of that makes sense)
