Driller in the oilfield. He works on boats though for a company that takes soil samples from the ocean floor and then sends that information to companies that want to set up production rigs.
I think. I kind of tune out when he talks work stuff. :-?
DH is an ex-truck driver, ex-contruction worker (both for our own companies) turned Journeyman Plumber at the local hospital. He's seriously a jack of all trades.
He drove truck when each of the three girls were born. We finally made it so he could stay home.
ETA: He only stays at home nights and weekends but after 4 years on the road this has been a major adjustment on our life!!!

Absolutely in love with our 'big' family!
I'm also a proud Auntie to a crazy little girl, her brand new baby sister, a little man on his way in the next month, and a sweet little mister we will miss forever!!!
We own a small retail business specializing in sales & service of swimming pools, spas/hot tub, billiard tables & saunas. DH oversees all daily functions, advertising & our service staff.

5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
Aviation electronic technician for helicopters in the Coast Guard, but only until February, then he will head back to school for mechanical engineering.
When he worked he was a clothing designer, which is not as cool as it sounds. It takes your soul, pays shit, means God-awful commutes, and kills your desire to do your own art. He is SO much happier now! He just might start his own business in his free time
My husband is a sous chef which has been rough in the past due to late nights, but now his shift is 8-7 which is glorious because we can eat dinner together every night. And no--living w a chef does NOT mean they're cooking a lot at home!
