MIL asked me what I want and I have no idea. My amazon wish list consists of books and boring, around the house stuff. I added a pair of boots, some fleece toms, and a nice nursing tank.
I hate getting stuff I can't use, it just clutters up my house. I usually just want gift certificates and my family hates that - nothing to wrap. But since I don't need anything for myself, I'm going to point them in the direction of my registry and they can have fun picking stuff out for the baby. I really want this Gracie and Sam Mei tai that has ALL THE SCIFI on it.
She makes a lot of sci-fi themed carriers. There are a ton of Doctor Who prints, a Firefly print, and a Sherlock print among others. And she's size-friendly, which is a big plus for me since I happen to be flufftastic.
A scarf and a love sac that my H will let me keep in the LR or bedroom.
Regular furniture is uncomfortable. Clothes and shoes don't fit that well right now and I am very picky about purses and jewelry and don't want my H spending what he would need to.
@katydid2014 Are you still looking at the Seraphine knot dress? I am! I'm a little nervous about sizing - I should just call their customer service. I did try on a Seraphine top at a Macy's and it seemed to run TTS.
I told DH that I want the stuff we've been talking about doing - a whole house media server and a way to set up the record player so it can live in the living room and be used. Apparently there is some kind of adapter required to work with our normal receiver.
I'm still trying to think of things to tell other family.
Baby stuff, a new video camera, gift cards (motherhood so I can get a nice dress, target, babies r us, etsy, buy buy baby, or for a spa), new dish drying rack, my jujube diaper bag.
There was a thread all about this just a couple weeks ago. I don't know how to link it from mobile, but you can search for it and get lots of great ideas there!
Ugg lattice cardy boots, Tiffany horse shoe necklace, kobo h2o, a glass bowl for my kitchen aid mixer, bumble and bumble hair stuff, new cookie sheets, PB black out curtains for the bedroom, vitamix/blendtec, nesspresso, dermologica products

Is it really weird that H and i are like "let's not do gifts this year. Instead let's use the money for the Uppa baby vista stroller?!" Have we officially become lame?
@cesquer no not lame!! That's what we are thinking of doing. There's nothing else I *need, other than I apparently didn't think through the "winter" weather in Florida. I have zero warm maternity shirts for work.
@cesquer nope, I feel the same!!!! I told my husband that maybe he can buy me a crib and I can buy him a stroller or something like that....... but he doesn't like that plan. Guess I'll just have to buy my own baby stuff and put it under the tree from "Santa" :P

Are you waiting for the me 2015 version to come out? It looks so awesome!
And I'm too selfish to ask for baby stuff instead of stuff for me, plus we saved the money for a stroller a long time ago.

a wallet/iphone holder wristlet. I wanted this since my DS was born bc it is easy to toss into a diaper bag or just grab when i am going for a walk and never got around to getting it. Maybe instead of asking for baby stuff, think of things that you will want/need after the baby is born.
pjs, comfortable sneakers, books, the iPad stand is a good idea, travel mug (with a baby/toddler, this is useful when at home too bc your coffee gets cold and takes you forever to finish when you are tending to a baby), etc.
Re: What's on your Christmas list?
@Whitfry can you post a pic or link? That sounds awesome.
Hubby got me a Christmas trip to Turkey!

I forgot to add my big present I asked for from DH: a new rug for the living room.
I'm boring.

Otherwise, cake.
