Dear MIL,
Please stop treating me like I am the wicked witch of the west. I am not mean to your poor baby of a son, I am not preventing you from seeing your grandson, and I am honestly trying to play as nice as possible on what little sleep I get.
Your son has not gotten up to tend to the baby in 6 months; J wakes up 3-6 times a night so shut it! He is continuously demonstrating that he wants to be a playmate, not a parent. And oh, about that "standing offer for baby sitting"...how about you actually not tell me that you have plays and concerts to go to for the next three months and then be all butt hurt when I don't feel like you are "available".
