I've been lurking on the IUI check-in board for a couple of months, but never officially introduced myself! I've gotten to know some of you through that board, but realize I'm probably missing a vast majority. Also, if I'm being honest, I was hoping to not be around that long and it wouldn't matter. DH and I are 30, married since 2011, been off the pill since 2013, and there's not a dawg gone thing wrong with us, except of course that I can't get KU. We are both very healthy, hardly ever get sick, and when we do we don't even need to see a Dr! Our powerful immune systems heal all! I didn't even have a primary care physican until this year because I never thought of it! Of course we've had every test under the sun, taken herbs, got drunk, eaten the core of a pinapple for 7 days, danced naked during the full moon (ok that's a joke, but I'd do it if I could find an article that proved it worked for someone!) and still nothing! I'm actually trying acupuncture next month... more needles... yay
I've had 2 IUIs without medication, 4 with clomid, and will find out if the final one worked this weekend (feeling completely normal, so I'm going with a BFN). We met with the RE last week to discuss the next steps, and I"m going to try two more IUIs with gonal-F, and then who knows... jury is still out on the IVF party. For someone who never has medical issues, with no official disagnosis, besides "We don't know!" it's a hard solution to swallow.
The silver lining is my husband is amazing, we have great jobs, and have the money to afford all these treatments options. The bad news is I'm a highly driven person, and I work extremely hard to get what I want. Not being able to get this for no good reason has been quite the character builder!
PS - The trolls on these boards really amuse me. I know some of you take severe offense, which is COMPLETLY understandable....you never know what part of your journey you experiencing when one of the trolls show up and hits you where it hurts, but I like to think that those idiots have it alot worse than I do in life. It's easy to hide behind a computer and be a tough guy, but I'm sure they don't have the confidence in the real world to function! I will most likely continue to add witty remarks, more for my amusement than theirs!

I would also try dancing naked under a fool moon if someone said they had heard that it would help. Why can't things like eating tremendous amounts of pizza or getting daily foot rubs be recommended folk remedies for IF issues? Anywho, I started acupuncture last month because I was like "what the hell?". It isn't bad, although the needles in the ear hurt a bit. Also, I can't fully relax because I am afraid I will nod off, roll over on my side and plunge a needle into my brain. (My acupuncturist assures me this is impossible.) Good luck!
