All I know is that I don't remember the last time I got more than a 3 hour stretch of sleep at a time. Although DS is only waking 3x's a night, and sleeping till 8:30-9, I'm still tired!

I'm averaging 4-6 hours a night. There are nights I'm only up once, but then LO gets up early those days. There are other nights that LO is up 3-5 times. So either way, I don't get much sleep.
Oh man, I'm sorry for you ladies. Most nights baby sleeps 9:30/10am-7:00/7:30am. Once in awhile she'll have a nightmare and wake up in the middle of the night. But if I get the 4-B's ready (Baby, Boppy, Binky, Blanket), she'll usually fall back asleep in 10 minutes or so.
Hoping you all get your sleep soon!

Six-seven hours of interrupted sleep is not enough for me. Be it age or just my reality I would be great if I could have a nap of 1-2hours everyday... oh well
Hey, if I went to bed as soon as my kids did I might get a little more sleep, but I usually spend a little time with hubby, or preparing for the next day.
I am lying in the bed for 8 hours a night, but since she wakes 3 - 4 X a night, I haven't gotten more than 3 hours of continuous sleep since birth. She doesn't drink anything for 10 hours during the day though (from 6 AM to 4 PM), so she's got to get her calories in somewhere...
TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d). TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2 born March 2014 (40w1d).
LO gets up once a night (sometimes twice). I need to get in the habit of going to bed earlier but LO doesn't nap well so I don't get anything done during the day. The evenings go by quickly when your to do list is never ending.

@aliki your LO doesn't drink anything during the day? Why?

I know this all too well. DS1 would sleep 15-30 during the day when he was a baby. He would do that 3-6 times a day. Aaaand he didn't go to bed until 11pm. And up for the say at 7. I was lacking sleep! Finally he started going to bed at 10 when I returned to work so I'd hit the hay as soon as he did. Screw the dishes and tidying. Lol.
SurpriseAt39mfarmer0811 believe it or not, we've tried every bottle and every formula (Similac, Enfamil, sensitive tummy version) and done everything to my BM (freshly pumped, frozen, warmed, scalded), but she simply wont take the bottle. DC offers it to her every 2 hours, but she won't take any bottle. I would say out of the 5 days in DC (for 10 hours a day), she will take about 4 oz. for the week?
She just likes BM directly from me THAT MUCH. She doesn't cry at DC or complain; she just chooses (vehemently) to not drink (water, BM, or formula) from a bottle.

@aliki J is a reverse cycler too. He's not as extreme as your LO but he'll only take about 8oz of milk from a bottle each day (plus solids). Maybe it's early for this, but could a sippy cup help?
@aliki gotcha! DS won't take a bottle either, I didn't know there was a name for it.

DS1 refused bottles completely. Once he started to take the straw cup (because he didn't like sippy cups) at 8 or 9 months it was water only unless attached to me. Finally around 10 months he would drink cows milk if it was warm. By 11 months he'd drink it cold.

If LO drinks milk during the day, they may sleep better at night.
