Has anyone heard a heartbeat at 9 weeks on a Doppler.

My first doctor's appointment is at 9 weeks and 2 days. And I'm afraid it will be too early to hear heart beat with a Doppler. My doctor doesn't do ultrasounds at 9 weeks for some reason. Anyone hear heart beat this early?

    I just had a transvaginal ultrasound done, at 6 weeks and we could see the heart beating but not hear it. I think at 9 weeks you will be able to hear it just fine :)

    She is asking about doppler, not transvaginal ultrasound so not the same thing

    Lurking from May '15. I had my first prenatal appt at around 9 weeks 4 days and while my doctor did do an ultrasound, she tried the Doppler as well. She was able to hear the heart beating but I only just heard my own so it was probably very faint at that point. So it is possible to hear it this early - good luck at your appt and I hope you are able to hear your LO :-)
