Ladies,

I am smelling absolutely everything & with all day sickness this isn't pleasant at all! It's got so bad that I've had to get a fresh towel to literally wrap my nose in and it's stopping me from sleeping, I can't get comfortable with all these horrible smells and this awful feeling of sickness! I'm not being sick I just feel it 24/7! I'm 6w does this get better? I'm finding it so hard to deal with :(

    It usually does around 13-14 weeks. I'm counting down too

    I'm almost 7 weeks and having the same problem. I'm currently sitting here with hubby complaining about a smell he can't smell lol. It's horrible.

    I'm 7weeks 3 days and smelling everything! Even my partners hair is driving me crazy no matter if it was just washed or not. I have to sleep with a fan on my face other wise the room smell annoys me (it's a nice smelling room to everyone else)
    I felt sick from my air freshener and couldn't go into that part of the house till I worked out it was it and turned it off

    I'm the same! I couldn't sleep because my lovely smelling room just didn't smell lovely enough! It's been driving me crazy. Smelling all sorts of smells that I'm petty sure all aren't really there haha!'ot helping the sick feeling I have at all :( the fan idea sounds perfect though! I may have to try that :)

    Yuck yes. I can't stand going through the grocery store with the heightened sense of smell. Everything stinks! Especially the area where there is freshly grated cheese.. It smells like throw up to me. X_X

    Haha, yeah I'm on an airplane right now and it is awful. I feel like I can smell what everyone had for lunch and beyond, and I m having trouble settling in.

    I just got hit with my super sniffer powers and that lovely nausea on the same day. My problem is that I'm a dental hygienist and the smell of people's bad breath is making me turn green I swear! Trying not to barf on my patients. Started smearing a drop of peppermint oil on my mask to intercept the stink. Feeling like poo. Hoping I feel better by thanksgiving :(

    @Superbabycastle - can you ask them to rinse with mouthwash? I would DIE if I thought my hygienist was gagging on my bad breath!!

    Hahahaha... my hubby says that pregnancy has turned me into a bloodhound. We were at a restaurant the other night and in the middle of eating dinner my daughter says "what di you smell?" It then dawned on me that my nose was up in the air and all i could do was sniff. My husband laughed when my answer was "cake...chocolate... chocolate cake...ummmm dobash cake!" (It's a lite fluffy chocolate cake with a chocolate pudding type of "frosting" that we have here in Hawaii)
    As we left the restaurant we found the plate of cake evidence like 5 tables away.
