The thought of all the food smells at Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas makes me want to barf. This is usually such an awesome time of year too. Anyone else?
I'll be missing the wine, but other than that I'm looking forward to it! My mom always said she loved being pregnant during Christmas, she said the story of Jesus and his birth was so moving when she herself was expecting. I feel the same way, I always get a little teary eyed during Christmas mass when I'm pregnant.
1. My family is pretty religious & the fact that I'm pregnant before being re-married will not go over well... I'm sure I can hide it for Thanksgiving but probably not Christmas, my grandma is always monitoring my weight (which is so rude but that's my grandma)
2. Money is really tight right now due to a job change, both of my boys have birthdays next week then Christmas a few weeks later... I feel guilty that I can't buy very much

I don't feel the joy and cheer yet. We are telling the expanded family on Thanksgiving.i am excited about the food...but the celebrations can be quite exhausting with all night partying my DH's family does. I will cry at the midnight mass on x mas for sure. In regards to my tiredness - I guess I will just camp out in one of the guest bedrooms. Mamma needs to sleep lol.

I am really excited, I have no idea how the food will make me feel but otherwise I can't wait. We are taking dd to look at Christmas lights in the beginning of December and she actually can walk this year and look unlike last year when she was only 6-7 months lol. And plus on December 5th is my first appointment so hopefully I will have an ultrasound.

This will be the first year ever that we won't be home for the holidays. We can't afford to fly home and I'm working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so that's kind of a downer. We've usually celebrated Christmas late or early depending on everyone's schedules but it will still be a little sad to be away from everyone this year. We also wanted to tell our immediate families that we're expecting on Christmas and having to do that over Skype makes me a little depressed.
