Update..spotting and cramping...thoughts and prayers requested

First off, I LOVE my new OB! I'm so glad I switched after my miscarriage. She spent a ton of time with my Husband and I and was happy to check in and make sure all is well. We are measuring at 8weeks, three days for a expected due date of July 4th. Baby had a strong heartbeat and was wiggling all around. Your thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement means so much! Thank You!! Yesterday was my most challenging day of pregnancy yet! I was nauseous all day and threw up most of the night. The nausea made its appearance again this morning but gave me a nice break all afternoon and into the evening. When I went to wipe this afternoon there was several spots of fresh blood and now I'm cramping. There has been a ton of nausea all pregnancy, but tonight is my first night of cramping. I do have my first Ob appointment tomorrow but there isn't a ultrasound scheduled. I'm hoping they will be willing to add one for me, but if they won't then I plan to call my RE and instead of getting my ultrasound with them on Monday December 1st I am hoping they will get me in this Wednesday. I totally know that spotting and cramping can mean nothing, but having had the missed miscarriage at this time (eight weeks, three days) last pregnancy I'm quite a bit worried. Any thoughts and prayers you can all spare would be so greatly appreciated!!

So sorry you're having a scare. I think you have a good plan in place- seeing if your OB will give you an ultrasound, and if not, seeing your RE as soon as possible. Hopefully your spotting and cramping will ease up so that you can get a good night's sleep. Thinking of you and wishing you and your LO all the best.

I had some spotting early on, and cramping can be normal in those early weeks. Are you on aspirin? I see in your siggy you were diagnosed with MTHFR. My RE chalked my spotting up to the lose dose aspirin I was taking daily. Good luck!

Thanks for all the love and support! Yes, I do take baby aspirin and have since my loss in April. Will keep everyone posted, but I am staying hopeful and calm!!

Sending T's and P's your way. Definitely push for an ultrasound!! Take care of yourself. If it makes you feel better, I've had two spotting scares at week 6 and week 9. Baby was okay both times.
