Hiya @BethKate2!! How are you? I see you are 5DPO! Very exciting!!! How did everything go with your follies, the IUI, etc?

AFM, my u/s went well. For those who may not know, I had weekly u/s after my MC to check for suspected retained tissue. At my last u/s, where I got the "all clear" for the retained tissue, they also identified a hemorrhagic cyst. At the time they suspected that it was a corpus luteum cyst that I bled in to, and I can actually tell you exactly when it happened (during sex - ouch!). So we are just checking to make sure it resolved. Today I got to see the tech I like and she said "it looks better to me, but the doc will get the final say." So I should (hopefully) know by the end of the day tomorrow whether the cyst resolved. Other than that, just truckin along at CD8. Looking forward to seeing my family this weekend. Happy Thanksgiving to all!! (any Canadian snowflakes? I didn't think so, but wasn't sure)

Hi Everyone!

I just intro'd on the main board last week and I was hoping to join your check-in. I don't know if anyone read my intro but I'm the one with the doctor who has the nameplate "Dr. _________, at your cervix." I had a MMC in February and in September I gave birth to my son at 22 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia. My due date was January 14, 2015.

Right now I'm just waiting for my blood tests for clotting disorders and a placental pathology (doc says about a month) to come back. It sucks that I have to wait a month but I'm not ready to actively TTC again (I just want to drop kick 2014 out of my life before I start TTC again) so it's not delaying anything. So right now I'm focusing on stabilizing my blood pressure, which has been great the past couple of weeks but my cardiologist just switched me off of my current meds bc it's not safe for pregnancy. Fingers crossed my BP stays low!

@BethKate2 I thought so too. But then I slept funny last night (read didn't sleep well) and now my temp is back down. I really think I should start using OPKs so ladies any suggestions on decent cheap ones is good, because the last time I tried I never got a positive but I only used them in the mornings. Now I want to try using 2 a day and see if that gives me anything.

@Elliecat17 - I think most women would recommend Wondfo's. They are cheap (50 for $20 on Amazon) and you can certainly use them multiple times a day. I use them in the morning until I'm getting close, then 2-3 times a day. (Only 3 on the days that I think it's a positive, but I want to double check). Also, you need to make sure that you stop all drinking/urinating for 2-3 hours before testing, or your urine could be too diluted. Good luck!

AFM: Yep, AF showed and I'm now on CD7. DH and I are ready for an earlier O, so it will probably be later this month. My LP was 10 days (I really starting spotting heavy at 9 days) so I hope it's a bit longer this cycle.

@Greeneyes842 - My LPs vary between 9-15 days, but they average around 11. I'm OK with 11 or even 10, but spotting after 9 days doesn't make me happy.

@CFearsy, your insurance company makes me feel stabby. I'm so sorry you're struggling with this and other life stressors. I hope things start to fall into place soon.

@Elliecat17, wondfos have always worked the best for me. I buy them on Amazon. Very affordable! I'm trying the fertility monitor now. But if you're just starting out, I'd definitely do the wondfos.

I'm glad you're more prepared for an earlier O this month. I hate to be caught off guard. FX for you this cycle (or at least for a longer LP!).
