When did you first hear a heart beat?

So I went in for my first ultrasound today. According to my lmp, I should be about 6 weeks 3 days. I was hoping we would see a heart beat, but we didn't. My doc told me it should start beating at any moment, and of course I'm a little nervous, as I've had two miscarriages in the past. So I was just wondering, when did you ladies first hear your baby's heart beat?

Yea my doc wasn't really concerned, and I wasn't charting my temp, so who knows for sure. I'm getting additional blood work done in a few days, and a follow up ultrasound apt in 3-ish weeks. I guess it's just a waiting game for now.

With DD we heard her heartbeat at 12 weeks.

What they said ^^ No reason for concern and it should be any day now! Especially if you ovate a little later that day 14.

My ultrasound was 7w2d, we saw a heartbeat then. The hospital didn't want to book my appointment before 7 weeks because there is a chance of not seeing anything. I temped so I was right on with my edd.

When do you go back? Not to hijack...but I'm in the same boat went in at 6w3d, sac measured at 6w2d, but no fetal pole and no hb.

I switched docs, and go back in 5 days after first u/s...I'm so scared there will be no change and I'll still be stuck in limbo even more.

Hopefully our timing is just bad, and our lil buggers just started beating right after we took a peek!!!

I saw LO's heartbeat at 6 wks 3 days. It must have started not long before because it was 113. At 8 wks 6 days it was 176.

6 weeks is still early. I know how hard it is when you're a PGAL. Hang in there.

Saw mine at 6 weeks 6 days, it was 156.55bpm. Didn't hear anything just saw it

We saw it and the ultrasound machine tracked it at 7w 3d. Won't hear it with a doppler until the next appointment.

We saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days but didn't get to hear it until almost 12 weeks or so.

I just had my first visit yesterday at 5 weeks 6 days. We heard the heartbeat very early. Have faith, it'll happen.

Did you hear it or see it on the ultrasound? That sounds early to actually hear it

Both heard and saw it. I have a little picture of the beat too. It took a couple tries to get it though.

With DS, we heard it at the doctor's office at 11w and change...maybe 11w 4days? I can't remember but I was close to 12.

I have a tilted uterus, so with my first 2, I didn't hear a h/b with a doppler until after 12 weeks.

I just heard and saw the h/b with an internal u/s this morning. 6w2d, but I knew my exact O date, so I knew the dates were right.

Thanks ladies my first appointment is at 8 weeks. I know I ovulated early but I won't be surprised if I don't hear anything

The ultrasound tech was able to measure the heart rate for me yesterday (6w3d), but was not able to on Saturday when I was in the ER. It's still early. Don't panic.

We went in at 6w1d and we saw and heard the heartbeat. Went again yesterday at 7w, still a strong heartbeat.

I had an ultrasound yesterday. Baby measured 6w1d. We could see a flutter of a heartbeat but it wasn't strong enough to pick up on the ultrasound. I'm going back next week for a follow up but the NP was not concerned at all.

So sorry you have to wait. I know it is hard. I had my first ultrasound today, measuring 6w 4d with a heartbeat of 126 bpm.
I hope you get to hear your heartbeat soon. I'm sure it is just a matter of time!
