It doesn't matter what he is doing it just irritates me. I am trying to control myself because I feel like I am constantly yelling. He has a habit of bringing animals in the house without discussing it with me and then not taking care of them so I have to. I am nervous because I feel like he puts himself first and he may act this way when baby gets here.

  • No the baby is not going to detach. I sneeze all the time and it doesn't affect the baby. You may want to read up on pregnancy, perhaps "What to expect when you are expecting" or any basic pregnancy book.

  • Pregnancy lowers your immune system, so pregnant women have been coughing and sneezing for millennia. No need to worry.

  • Thank you for your responses and believe me pregnancy books are on my list. I have another question- i have tried finding it online but no luck-what do the letters stand for on a 6 week ultrasound?
  • I don't know about you, but I get the WORST stabbing pains when I sneeze. Lateral, lower abdomen pain so right around the ute/ovarian region. I remember it freaking me out the first time, but I had a healthy pregnancy and now a healthy toddler. Also, I read ALL THE BOOKS. Sometimes, they'll freak you out more, but I just need to know. Deep breaths mama, it's going to be okay.

  • You'll be fine. Pregnancy lowers your immune system and also sometimes your mucuous membranes will swell (for example, your nose). This usually results in sneezing, stuffy noses, coughing, etc. Don't worry.

You don't really need to know what these stand for. These are for references for the ultrasound tech. Nothing crazy.
  • Oh Oki i thought maybe the size of the baby was on there somewhere. Thank you.

No problem! Usually all I look for are the person's name and EDD/weeks gestation when I get them at work, anyways, but the measurements may be on there somewhere... Maybe next US you can ask the tech to show you. They're usually very friendly and helpful.
