Tips, tricks and advice are appreciated. DS is doing a great job on the potty but I have no idea how often to stop.
Should we limit how much we let him drink? How do I keep him from falling into the habit of "it's safe to go potty in the car seat"?
We have to drive during his normal poop time but he doesn't really know in advanced yet. He just kind of yells and runs to the bathroom when he has to poop. He has a potty seat that fits on a standard toilet but should we being his potty chair for emergencies?
Help please and thank you.
Re: Potty Training during Travel
That was my first instinct @dorothygale01. My only concern is DH. We've had the talk about how long a 2 year old can hold it already and DH thinks an hour or more is ok. I have a serious fear of a bladder infection or him crying and saying "sowwee" because he peed himself even though he tried to hold it. That breaks my heart every time.
If my son hasn't had much to drink he usually doesn't need to go for 2-3 hours.
Goooooood luck.

@dorothygale01 that depends on DH and his mood. If he's pissy he won't pull off on the side of the road so there's a chance that he wouldn't stop.
