  I think the "correct" way, according to Google, is Berit..but I don't know about it. It's kind of sparked my interest.

  I found a page that said the spelling Berit meant intelligent. I really just like this better than Bennett. I'm not due until late May, but I am a little obsessed with names and this one just makes me a little happy. Haha.
