NBR trip help So Cal

We are taking a short trip to Southern California tomorrow. We are flying into LAX and need to spend a day in Palm Dale. What else is there to do close by? Best ocean spot to visit? And touristy things to do? We have a day and half for fun.

    You would be close by Santa Monica, and there is a pier with rides, restaurants, and stores. There is also Venice beach, lots of crazies and stores and lots of beach. if you have a moment, visit Malibu. Beaches there are great! Have fun and safe travels, @sjames2‌

    I have no clue where Palmdale is, but Santa Monica is great! You can rent bikes and bike from Santa Monica to Venice beach...all the way down to Marina Del Rey, all along the ocean. Our fave beach is Manhattan Beach...really quiet and pretty. A block away from Santa Monica pier is 3rd Street Promenade, which has lots of fun stores, eateries, and street performers. Santa Monica is also close to Beverly Hills, and you can check out Rodeo Drive or the Beverly Center (mall) or The Grove (outdoor mall with trolleys, Las Vegas style water fountain, movie theater). Try to avoid driving during rush hour, because West LA gets really congested. Hope you have a great time!
