Hope after blighted ovum

Hi everyone, had a blighted ovum and miscarried in July this year. Conceived again in Oct. Nervous couldn't find anything during first ultrasound, but everything went well with good heartbeat at 6 weeks 5 days. Just came back this morning from 2nd ultrasound with 172 heartbeat and baby measured right on track at 8 weeks 5 days. For moms out there, I know it's hard to not worry, but there is also hope. All the best to all mom's out there and have a happy and health pregnancy. By the way..I am 40 years old.

    Congrats to you! My very first pregnancy was a blighted ovum & my body didn't miscarry for weeks, it was very hard so I can relate!
    Glad everything is going well for you! My mom had my little brother at 40 & everything went really well ;)

    Thank you for sharing your story!! My first pregnancy was a blighted ovum. I went as far as 11 weeks and never miscarried. I had to have a D&C. Im almost 7 weeks preg now and I cant wait for my us!!! FX this time theres a little baby in there....the not knowing is killing me!!
