Sick Vent

Sorry, just have to vent. T is sick again and I have no idea what it is. His 2 year molars are coming in and his ear tubes have fallen out, so a mild fever has been a constant for us lately. Well it's up to around 101 the past 2 days and he's somewhat miserable, though he has happy moments. He has a few rashes (bum, leg, belly) which I can't tell if they are real rashes or just dry skin (he gets severe dry skin that we need to treat). He also has white spots in the back of his throat and a cough. Finally, he also has what he's calling a boo boo on the bottom of his foot, which could easily be either a bug bite, from stepping on a toy or the start of a sore from hfm. I'm just sooo frustrated - this has all happened within 24 hours. I'll be taking him to the doctor tomorrow but I feel so bad and wish I knew what was going on! I'm so sick of him being sick and am dreading this cold season! Rant over

Eta: He also went to bed at 6:15...I have a feeling it's going to be an early morning (usually goes down at 7:30ish).

I hope he feels better! I had white spots on the back of my throat a couple years ago and it was a terrible case of strep throat (so bad the Dr made me stay home from work for 3 days) . I'm glad you're taking him to the Dr.

Seriously there with you. EVERY TIME we go anywhere DD gets sick this time of year. We went to the zoo and she was sick for a week. We got over it for ONE DAY and went to story time at the library and here we are with another cold that has now turned into more. We both have pink eye today and last time DD had pink eye she really had a double ear infection so I am thinking this will get worse before it gets better. She has literally gotten every med you can possibly give an under two year old and finally slept last night and napped OK today but her eyes are way worse tonight so I forsee I crappy night ahead. One more reason we are TTA until we can aim for a late spring baby - I want to give my second baby as long as possible before the illnesses all kick in!!!

I am so sorry your little bug is so sick, good luck at the doctor tomorrow. I probably will be stuck doing the same.

Same here! They are such sponges at this age.

Oh no. Poor Taylor! J just had a stomach bug last week and it wasn't pretty. I too dread the cold season although I'm hoping J's ear tubes are still in place. They helped so much once he got them in. His 2 year check up isn't until the end of December, I hope not to have to go before then...
