Grunts

Apologies if this is a recurrent question, but my 2 week old grunts all the time! His breathing pattern is totally normal but man, this kiddo grunts constantly. Is he in pain? Gas? Or is this just normal baby speak. It's hard to sleep with a grizzly bear sleeping next to you :)

    Totally normal. Don't worry! He will grow out of it. My first one grunted and squeaked all night long for the first month or so. My new one is quieter, but still grunts a little bit. I can't remember the reason they do this, but it is very common.

    My DS is 2.5 wks and is also a grunter that he sounds like a old man.

    My LO is 11 weeks tomorrow and still grunts! He has always been a big grunter although now that he does lots of cooing, there isn't quite as much grunting. :)
