Genetic screening

The doctor brought up a genetic screening for DH and I to think about. Everything is going great, he just said he offers it to everyone. I was wondering if any of you have had it done? Was it correct on the sex of the child if you had that done? Did insurance cover any of it? Any help would be great! Thanks!!!

    Not sure about insurance covering it or not, that would vary by plan/medical history Id imagine. But it will be 100% correct on sex as it looks at fetal dna.

    I plan on getting it done as soon as possible.

    We didn't go as far as finding out the sex via genetic tests but we did the ultrasound and blood work. Our insurance covered ever bit of it but your insurance could be different. That's one reason we did it....it didn't cost extra so why not. Plus we wanted to be prepared just in case something was wrong.
