Thanksgiving Day Gift for daughters teacher??

Just a thought- do you all get gifts for your kids teachers for Thanksgiving? We do one for Christmas and then one for teacher appreciation, but I have not given one for Thanksgiving before. I went and had lunch with my daughter today and ran in to her teacher and it got me wondering if I should have gotten her a small gift before the break. I know that there are a few teachers on the board- is this customary for kids to bring a gift for this holiday?

Seriously? I wish this trend to buy teachers something for every freaking holiday would just stop. I don't buy anybody a Thanksgiving present. We eat food. What would you possibly buy her, a turkey?

I think it's crazy too, but they seem to be nuts about the gift giving at my kids school. Especially the room moms- I swear we get an email every few weeks about something that they want us to make/bake/contribute for the teacher. Just wanted to check
