Just got home from errands and littleman is finally taking a nap after boycotting for a few.hours. it has rained all day today it.is suppose to turn to snow tonight. We are suppose to meet up with my family in a bit for my dads birthday dinner.
So the night out we had last night turned into me getting the most drunk I've been since college. I wasn't even that bad, but it was fun. I'm glad we went. DH let me sleep in this morning too, and had a homemade waffle waiting when I did get up.
I took the boys to the gym with me later this morning so DH could sleep some more. Then this afternoon we went to a birthday party.
Wesley is still sleeping 2 1/2 hours in its already 630 should i try to wake him up or just let him be. He hasnt been sleeping well all week. Not sure what to do.
My dog ripped our amazing sectional couch a few months back. We had some amazing 5 yr warrenty and it was about to expire so we called to have it fixed. Turns out their policy is not to fix it but to replace it. The sectional is no longer in production. So they are giving us the original amount we paid ($2200) as a credit and we have 14 days to buy anything we want at Raymour & Flanigan. Doesn't even have to be a couch! I love the sectional and my mil said she could stitch it. I think we should get a new dining room table ..I spilled acetone nail polish remover on it 7 years ago and it took off the stain all over the top. But my husband wants this fancy leather sectional to replace ours and says the kids and dog will not be allowed on it! Hello buddy this is our home not a museum.
I bought SD a coat from old navy that she wanted a few weeks ago. MIL told her that old navy stuff isn't good that day after she saw it and today she went and bought her a northface. Almost the same exact coat too.
MIL bought B a coat from gap a few weeks ago. It's kinda cute but super puffy so I hate it. But I let it go because I didn't want to be rude. Well now I'm buying B a coat from old navy and she'll never wear that gap coat again.
@chricast, fix the couch. buy the new table. Has your husband ever seen kids and/or dogs? LOL. His fancy pants new couch will have a spill/tear/something within a week. it comes with the territory apparently.
@stephcarter what the hell?? What's wrong with old navy??

So my kid, who at 4:00 was running a 103.6 fever (fresh out of the tub, even!) is now at 7:00 stealing potstickers off my plate and begging for more. Guess the tylenol helped. LOL. These stupid teeth are gonna break both me and her, I think. There is one more after this. I think. She won't let me get a good look or feel of her top gums, so this is either the last one, or she has one more.

I got the flu. Woke up sick in the middle of the night Friday. Low grade fever and vom-fest yesterday. Last night, middle of the night, MH starts barfing. So this is awesome. We both can barely move and need to try to take care of these kids. Without getting them sick, though it seems inevitable, MH shared food with both of them yesterday.
@NeedUtonite , my parents do live across the street. I may ask for help if I get desperate. I just hate to do it because my mom is a huge freak about getting sick / germ exposure. I seem to be done barfing at least. Now I took some ibuprofen and fingers crossed it stays down.
@Hismom12 how could youuuuuuuu! Horrible mom!!! Although, I could be even worse. A bunch of Bs stuff came from, get ready for this confession- TARGET!! I'm so ashamed! ( (:|
We're supposed to go to his parents for thanksgiving. Yeah I think B and I will just stay home.
We just got up. Wesley finally fell asleep last night around midnight. Up at 5am, but i brought him back to bed with me and he fell asleep aain and we just got up. I was.going to go finish my grocery shopping since by the time i got to target yesterday and i had lost my list so i winged it, only missing 10 items. Also purchased a lot not on my list as well, damn target. Not feeling like going now as it snowed last night and i dont want to dig my car out. Maybe ill take my h's car when he gets home from work.
Hugs @stephcarter! Come to thanksgiving at my moms, my inlaws will be there too we are setting up just like Emma's party so what's another 1.5 peeps!! We can all wear our outfits purchased at Target and Old Navy with not a single name brand in sight!!
Thanks ladies, @StefanieM522 OMG returning it would be HILARIOUS.
My mom and sister and I were talking and decided my mom should get B a northface, which she should wear to MILs on thanksgiving. Because the fact that my mom got it for her would make it much worse!
True, @WanderingStars23. Plus the germ threat gives me extra motivation to clean well.
I'd say a huge percentage of my girls clothes is from target or ON. Otherwise consignment or Gymboree outlet. They grow out of it in a matter of months, I don't see the need for super high quality stuff.
Wow..so many kiddos are sick here Ellas had a fever since last night, she was pukin and up crying every half hour last night. This mama's exhausted. Thank goodness she's kept her tylenol down..I'm debating a shower since she's finally sleeping decently but I hate to leave her alone because she's been so needy
I suddenly don't feel so bad about the misery at our house. At least A isnt puking as long as i don't let her fever spike. Good luck guys. I hope all the punies get better!

@NeedUtonite I don't think you are. I don't think it's entirely fair for her to ask you to eat everything she eats. And it's not like you're asking her to take on more work.
So tell me if you think this is rude.... and what you would've done.
We are going to my parents for thanksgiving. My mom is not the best cook. She's knows it, but doesn't acknowledge really how bad. MH is a really good cook and somewhat of a foodie, so it bothers him more than most. In addition to her cooking skills, she had recently been put on a really strict diet (essentially paleo, but it's Dr's ordered).
So she was planning on modifying most of thanksgiving dinner to fit (no dairy, no gluten!) in with her diet. I, however, want normal food so I called to ask what she was making so I could bring a couple dishes as well. She (as expected) got a little offended.
Am I a jerk?
My MIL always bring her own food to Thanksgiving and it pisses me off. I get offended and feel like my cooking is not good enough for her. This year I told she was welcome to come, but I was making all the food and she could not bring a substitute. We will see if she listens.
LOL. We keep getting ding ding ditched so tonight they did it and my hubby ran out the side door and hid behind the trash cans (creeper like in the dark). He saw a gang of 12 year old boys doing it to the neighbors so he yelled, "okay it's not funny. Go home it's passed your bedtime!" They ran off saying, "you can't tell me what to do!"
Ugh kids.
Lol @ the creeper! He needs to sit out there with a water gun full of ice water lol Lil brats!
