Guys, I'm getting so anxious about black Friday diaper buying. I can't spend too much, but I want to get a good deal and I don't know what I should buy, especially now that I'm only buying for one kid.

Grovia? BB? Inserts? Simplex? Nicki's? Sbish?

Serious anxiety over here.

I need some new inserts or prefolds to stuff pockets with, but I'll probably end up buying diapers too. That whole buy all the diapers thing gets me every time.

Can I just say, I wish I had bought more diapers on BF last year? I was all frugal with my stash the first year...CD'ing to save money, ha ha ha! Anyways, now at 25 months, I feel like buying too much more is silly since he could PL anytime. But I want more.

So my advice to all you with younger babies, seriously buy all the diapers now. So you get lots of use out of them!

That's when you buy both and then sell or trade the other when you find out.

If there's anything you want to get, like GMD prefolds or flats, I'd sign up for their mailing.

If there's a brand you want to buy, like Blueberry or Tots Bots, I'd find sites that sell them and sign up for their emails.

Otherwise, check here. People will post the current sales. A lot of sites have a percentage off your purchase and free items depending on the amount you purchase.

Last year CBs ran like a daily special kind of thing starting the Monday before Thanksgiving. A couple other websites (Nickis for sure) ran a % off the whole week on certain brands. A couple big brands announced specials like B2G1 that were honored at all retailers that carry that brand. Then most sites have 10 -15% off most things on BF & CM, freebies for purchasing a certain amount, and certain brands with a bigger % off.

I think the diaper pin still compiles a list of all the specials a few days before BF.

But you're TTC, or at least planning on it, aren't you? I haven't been keeping up with a lot of threads, so sorryin advance if I'm being a total ass. But with 2 in cloth, and a toddler that acts terrified of the toilet, I should buy all the diapers, right?

I was waiting for bf......but then I spent my money on used diapers and now I can't think of any diapers I want to get on bf.....go figure

Absolutely you should buy all the diapers!

(We were TTC. It's kind of on hold ATM, long story, and I'm not sure if we will in fact have another or not. My silver lining to the whole situation is that if G PLs soon I will sell all the diapers and put the $ away for a rainy day. If we do by chance end up having another baby, I get to buy all the diapers again.)

I can't decide what diapers to get G for Xmas (they don't have to be xmas). It's not like he needs anything at this point with all the stuff we already have from V. So I'll probably just get him a few diapers. I thought maybe a few more aplix ones for babysitters. BG aplix sucks, none of the TB prints are doing it for me right now, and the Kawaii butt print HD2s aren't all that exciting right now either.

I could get another BB or two, but I have a million covers as it is. Not like that's a problem...

Or just say screw the aplix and get more snaps since I tend to like those better anyways.

What should I get?! This is important so I know what BF deals to look for!

I have one of the new Thirsties OS AIO in aplix and I love it. I had their new aplix on some size 1's too. It's nice.

Grovia has decent aplix, and I think we decided that there hasn't been enough research done on Smart Bottoms (was that the plane one?). We should probably all get one so we can have an informed board opinion of them.
