I had a scheduled c-section Saturday November 15th and Graham Daniel was born at 9:09am. It went perfectly to plan. My high risk doc and regular OB did my surgery, and my OB thought baby would for sure be over 10lbs while the perinate though a little less. When Graham was born I heard the perinate say, "I think I might be wrong about his weight". He was 9lbs 14oz, 22in long, with a 15in head. When I heard him crying it was automatic tears. Not sure I've ever heard a better sound in the world. They let my husband video the birth so I could see it later. They also let me do skin to skin right after he was born which I was ecstatic about. DH looked so proud holding him for the first time. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm sorry if this is kind of choppy with typos.... lack of sleep and getting interrupted every time I try to get on here make it hard to write out. Here are some pictures of Graham's first few days. I seriously had no idea how much I was going to love him. I feel like I love him so much my heart hurts sometimes.
