I seen my Dr 2 weeks ago he confirmed I'm pregnant.. He sent out a referral so I could see an obgyn And I still don't have an appointment... I wanted to get an ultrasound to make sure everything is okay I'm 6 weeks 2 days now...I have no spotting but I have mild cramping and get dizzy at times... I know they say in topic pregnancy you get dizzy I'm extremely bloated which is also a sign... Is there any way I could pay to have an ultrasound done at 6 weeks???

    You should be able to call your ob and request an earlier appt due to specific symptoms. They may deny your request, but you can try.
    I know mine does a dating ultrasound at your first appt, which usually needs to be done earlier in the pregnancy to be more accurate.

    I don't have an ob yet the doctor is requesting one... I have called my doctors twice this week and he stated as long as I'm not spotting or bleeding I'm fine... I wanted to go to the er but I'm a bad liar... And our ugret doesn't have ultrasound machines

    WTF. I am glad the ER didn't do an ultrasound as it would have been a waste of time and resources. Please lurk on the forums or get a book and educate yourself on normal symptoms of pregnancy.

    I can tell you that nothing you have said here would even make me think ectopic

    Chill out, lady. Why do you even think something is wrong? Because you're having normal pregnancy symptoms? No shit your doctor isnt doing anything, you need an OB.
    Don't go to the ER, that is for people with emergencies. You are just spazing.
    You'll get an appt, and you'll eventually get an ultrasound. Calm yo tits.

    You guys don't have to be so rude I never said I was gonna a go to the er...I was asking about paying for an ultrasound.... I thought this app was about support and help... I was asking if I could pay for an ultrasound...I did t come on here to be cussed at and talked down to

    I really don't know how you are going to survive 9 months. You need to chill. Your baby is fine, and if not there is nothing that can be done this early

    Most OBs won't do ultrasounds until at least 8-9 weeks anyway and as mentioned, possibly not until 20 weeks unless you opt for the NT scan at 12-14 weeks.

    The symptoms you're describing are the same I've had. Cramping could mean implantation and is not a big deal without bleeding.
