Dermoid Cyst???

So I took DS for his 6 month chk and I immediately asked the pedi about the bump above his eye that's been there for like 2 months. Pedi told me that it looks like a Dermoid Cyst and the only way to treat it is to surgically remove it because it will continue to grow and cause additional problems. We have a referral to a surgeon but I wanted to know if anyone had this or had it removed? How did it go?

No experience with my LO but I had one removed when I was 4 months. No complications and it hasn't returned 28 years later. The scar is right at my eyebrow but not noticeable. He'll do just fine and won't remember it at all! Best of luck momma!
