Crappy mother note

Two in one week, 1st for sending him in tie- shoes. This for no spare clothes. On fairness he hasn't peed his pants in nearly two years. Anyway I'm just killing it as a mom of two.
What is the world letting you know you rock at?

    wait, what on earth is the problem with shoes that tie? am i missing something here? the teacher can't tie his shoes? shoelaces are a tripping hazard? tie shoes are the devil?
    I seriously lol'd.

    Other than his winter boots I haven't put DS in tie shoes yet so I don't know. I imagine it would be a pain to have to tie and retie shoes for multiple toddlers all day? But on the other hand, my toddler is pretty skilled at taking his velcro shoes off and losing them. Seems like an odd rule to me.

    Tie shoes are the only way shoes stay on my DS's feet. He takes the Velcro ones off constantly.

    The teacher complained that he played with the laces instead of paying attention and lectured me on having a talk with him. Geee I've never thought about talking him out of having his fathers ADHD, thanks for the advice lady.

    Dear old people, please stop telling me to put a hat on my baby. We live in Southern California and its 75 degrees and sunny. This kid is an oven and gets heat rash from wearing a long sleeved onesie. Tx!

    I have to disagree my 2 yr old is so independent and she likes to put her own shoes on. They go on really easy and she can keep them on her feet. The elastic ones do suck bc it slides all over and I didn't let her wear them anymore. The plastic one from old navy are the ones she likes. And I like the fact I can tell her to go put her shoes on and it takes her 10 seconds, rather than her getting pissed off bc she can't get the Velcro in the right spot or the buckles undone on other sandals.

    I drop my phone on LO all the time. I also forgot to put the inside pieces in her bottle and almost drowned the poor girl.

    He isn't so floppy anymore. He's 12w Sunday and has really good head control ... And I should follow the "toss" up with more just holding at arms reach cause my husbands a giant at 6'6". And can darn near touch our ceiling.

    But now that you say that I'm not too happy he started doing this so early. And only saw the one time that he bumped DS head. So I think he stopped that nonsense.

    I had a lady tell me that 7 weeks was too young to "expose him to the elements"...even tho it's cold in lousiana 65 degrees and being covered head to toe and having a carsear canopy isn't exactly "the elements". Plus we were at the dermatologist where generally people don't have airborne illnesses.

    Eta. I thought I was good enough to trim just the pointy edges of his nails. I wasn't. I clipped the skin on both thumb nails. He gave me the look of distrust before he screamed. I suck.
