  • Hi Ladies!

I hope you are all in good spirits. The anniversary of our loss was on Friday, so my weekend wasn't very pleasant. Like clockwork, AF showed up on Sat, so I'm now on CD4. This is our last cycle before going back to the RE.

Hi @Cheetara2 ! Thanks for the check-in. Hugs to you on the anniversary of your loss. I'm sorry AF showed up too! FX for you this cycle.

AFM, nothing really new. Had a really great trip in Southern California (despite AF being in town for the first 5 days of the trip) and I'm so sad to be back. It is 14 degrees and snowy in Chicago so it has been a really rough couple days back. We are actually seriously considering a move out to Cali but not sure if that will actually work out, might just be a dream. Other than that, just waiting to O so we can start trying again. It's gonna be another rough O week because once again my husband and I are working opposite shifts this week, so we only cross paths for maybe an hour in the morning and like 15 minutes in the evening (if that). Not sure how we're going to get any BDing in there and my H HATES the pressure he feels during my O week and sometime it causes some issues with actually getting the deed done. Is it bad that this is only my second cycle TTC since my loss and I just want to give up? It's so damn frustrating and I hate the pressure of scheduled sex.

  • Hi @Cheetara2, thanks for the check in.  Sorry about the anniversary... that's always so hard.  :(

AFM, not much to report.  We've been really busy with various family members coming in and out of town.  I'm about a week from AF and then we'll be TTC again next cycle.

AFM, not much here.  This is my last month back on the pill before giving it another go.  Looking forward to my wedding next month :)

  • Thanks for the check in @Cheetara2‌ . It's been a rough week emotionally/physically for me, but I'm surviving. My surgery is four weeks from today, so I just keep muttering to myself that I can handle four more weeks. I finally found an exercise program I can do that doesn't make the pain worse, so I've been focusing on that and strengthening my core before surgery.

  • Thanks for the check in @cheetara2, and sorry you had a rough weekend.

I'm 11dpo and had lots of hope until I started spotting today. I'd like to hope for implantation bleeding since I had it with DD ... So far it's really light.

I really want a nap, but have a bunch of things to do this evening, including paperwork for fostering a child. It's something we talked about last year, and it's come up again. We go from being really excited to being worried about how it will change our comfortable routine.
  • **********Pregnancy announcement mentioned, not mine***********

Still not much here. On CD 49 since the D&C. Some spotting recently, but no real AF. Pretty frustrated. Especially since my least favorite coworker announced her pregnancy today. Can't wait for Wine Wednesday, so Wine Tuesday it is.

  • First. Thank you @Cheetara2 for the check-in! Best wishes this cycle.

@ctk181 Glad to hear you had a great trip! The cold an I do not get along .A move south would be right up my alley!

@lycih I hope you are enjoying the time with your family.  Tis the Season!

    @jms627 YAY WEDDING!!!

@kcrkcs I always say that if it's going to be cold the least it can do is snow. I hate the cold, and hate is an understatement, but I love it when it snows. This doesn't mean I want to play in it though.

@laurao11 I hope the next few weeks fly by for you. Prayers for comfort.

@northerkhaleesi FX this is your cycle.

@laswett I'm sorry about the announcement at work. Hopefully it didn't put a damper on your whole day. Recently I have been in a Wine Everyday kind of mood.

AFM: Not a whole lot to report. Just riding out the crazy train on the two week wait. I feel good about our timing, but that sometimes doesn't mean much. Once is really all you need. If I can make it through Friday morning without peeing on all the things I will be good until Monday. DH and I are heading to the my families West Virginia cabin to close it this weekend. So at least I'll have a nice distraction for the end of my TWW.

Have a wonderful week ladies. ((Hugs)) to all those who need them!

  • Hi Ladies,

Sorry I went MIA there. Had a couple conferences and some dental work so I've been a little tied up. I welcomed the distraction though. Thanks for the support!

@ctk181 Glad you had a great trip. I hope you guys are able to work out your timing without too much stress.

@lycih I hope AF shows up soon so you can burn the bench.

@jms627 You must be so excited. Any jitters yet?

@LauraO11 I hope the time passes quickly for you, and the exercise program continues to alleviate some of the pain.

    @northernkhaleesi I think it's great that you're looking into fostering a child.

@kcrkcs Can't say I envy you right now.

@laswett Hang in there. I hope AF shows up soon, and I hope you enjoyed that wine.

@uromys Fx that this is your cycle. Enjoy your trip!

  • I can't believe I forgot to respond to this!!!  Life has just been so insane!

I have a 15 and 30 page paper due in 2 weeks for school so I've been pooping my pants with stress!  My surgery is scheduled for Friday 12/12 so until then I just need to focus on school.  I still haven't gotten AF from my cancelled FET cycle so my doctor gave me something that should jump start everything.  I'm not too worried because my doctor wants my lining as thing as possible for my surgery so a later period is better.

    ((hugs)) to everyone this week!!

Thanks! It's made for a crazy week, with next week being more of the same. We've been filling out and dropping off paperwork and have a meeting scheduled for next week.

It will mean a change in routine, for sure, but I think it's something that matters, and we need to do this right now.

I've been pretty down this week since AF showed up - and it's the worst one ever. I've never had such a heavy period. In the past, if it's been heavy it's shorter. If that's my new pattern, I should be done tomorrow! It's brutal.
  • @frenchteachermama - good luck with the papers! End of semester is brutal. I'm down to my last two and can almost taste it!
  • @cheetara2 - No jitters about actually getting married, just about falling on my face while tripping over my dress haha.
